Mountaindale RV Resort — Reviews

We loved this campground and the setting was beautiful with all the trees and landscaping that has been done. It created a nice peaceful setting. We enjoyed watching all the wild turkeys as they made their way past our campsite. The bathroom and laundry facilities were very nice and clean. The staff were great and very accommodating and helpful with suggestions on places to eat. We called a couple days before our original arrival date to see if they had any available sites and they were able to accommodate us with a terrace site for our first night stay and was very spacious with some trees that added some privacy. We were supposed to move to a lower level site for the remainder of our stay but we were offered another beautiful terrace spot for no additional charge! We will definitely be returning.

Beautiful very wide sites. Site 41 was large enough to park the car next to the RV, have room to park our bikes, and have room for camp chairs and propane fire pit. Trees but not too many trees. Deer wandering group occasionally. Very nice upgraded bathrooms. Nice laundry facilities at very reasonable prices. Office staff is very nice and helpful. We would love to return.

You will find this every where probably, but dogs barking at 5:30 am waking us up. Dogs not on leash fighting with other dogs. Other than that, wonderful.

Nice quiet park with large sites and clean restrooms. Large dog park. Long ways tho from any food stores or restaurants.

Upon arrival the camp host was there to greet us and guide us to our camp site. The park was very clean and well kept. And the surrounding landscape was very nice as well. We will be back!

Friendly hosts, clean restrooms, close to private sites and well away from the busyness of nearby communities. We'll be back.

Staff was so helpful and friendly. The grounds are beautiful and have large campsites.

We had a great overnight here. The service and the people that work here are outstanding and really went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable in our campsite. The bathroom/showers have been recently updated and very clean. We weren't here long enough to enjoy the many trails and activities available, but we would highly recommend this campground to anyone in the area.

This is one of, if not THE nicest rv parks we've stayed at. The park is set in a pine forest, our site was huge, and the park layout is great. Most of the sites are separated by natural rock walls, all the sites seem very level, and there are small gardens planted everywhere. One thing that sets Mountaindale apart from the rest is their brand new, very fancy, restroom /showers. Each one is private and quite large. They are by far the nicest shower facilites I've seen. They surpass anything you might find in a high-dollar resort! Overall, we left feeling like we could stay there all summer.

Beautiful place!

This was the best RV resort we have stayed in! "Resort" is the perfect name for it, as it was immaculate, lovely, and relaxing, with the friendliest staff. Our time spent at Mountaindale was so enjoyable, we hated to leave!

Everything was awesome. Great site, great people, easy access to Colorado Springs, Canon City and Cripple Creek. Beautiful full service bathrooms/showers - like a luxury hotel, not your typical "Ewwww, better wear flip-flops type of facilities".
