North Bay Shore Campground — Reviews

Very nice campground. The staff there were very welcoming. They moved me to a different site so my son and I wouldn't be crowded out by a large group in the site we originally booked. Well maintained amenities. Close to the beach and stores without being in the middle of everything. Easy to find

North Bay Shore campground is a great place to stay. The staff was great and helped me meet the challenges I faced as a first time camper. Definitely recommend!

The spot was level and all grass. No complaints with the spot. Friendly staff and clean. The issue was the people in the spot next to ours had a barking dog and would not shut up, owner would stand there and say nothing. Anyway we cut our trip short at this campsite.

Excellent campground. Well maintained

The owners were very accommodating. They were able to help us with our scheduling complication. They made sure we had a site that was best suited to our needs. When I had a problem with my RV the owner loaned me his tools so we could get on our way.

Nice separation of sites, easy access to places we wanted

The staff were very friendly and have a lot of things to do. We will stay there the next time we come out to Virginia.

Purely Peaceful

Campground a little tired.

Friendly staff, great location for fishing with direct boat access when staying in the cabins. And air conditioning in the cabins is ideal during the hot summer days.

Beautiful campground. We had site 36 on the canal and it was very peaceful and relaxing watching the water go by. The staff and owner were so friendly. I enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Though out-of-the-way the park is nice and friendly. As an older park, and in late June during a heat wave, I found the laundry facility too warm to stay for more than a few minutes. There is no air conditioning in any of the bathrooms or showers, either. Aside from that, I had a pleasant stay.

Amazing as always. I stay here multiple times of year. Great location, clean and functional facilities, friendly staff, etc.

Very laid back and easy. This was our first time ever camping in our new RV and it was easy. The campers around us were friendly and helped us learn more about RV camping. The ladies in the office were super helpful as well as the groundmen. Thank you
