Rio Verde RV Park — Reviews

Everyone was very friendly. Sue helped me rearrange my reservation when I wanted to move dates a few days. She worked at getting us a spot we could stay in for all 3 nights and she was successful! We were happy in our spot above the river and close to the laundry room. I did make use of the laundry room which was very clean. There were 4 washers and dryers: $2 wash and $1.75 dry which actually did dry your clothes in one cycle without adding more quarters. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the campground but it was really convenient to Old Town Cottonwood and the town of Jerome, which we loved and about 30 minutes to Sedona. Overall, we were very happy here and had a lovely stay.

Great little RV park! Log the proximity to Sedona and also how close it was to historic Cottonwood Main St, as well as grocery stores! Fun little hiking trail accessible from the RV park and plenty of room to walk the grounds after dinner. Staff was also very friendly & sites were easy to access. Will definitely return if ever in the area again!

The park is extremely clean and very well maintained. The staff were both extremely nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend this park when visiting Arizona.

It was a very relaxing stay with the river right there it was awesome. We will be back.

Check-in was very smooth and friendly, everything worked as advertised. quiet and peaceful. We love this place.

Nice level gravel sites. Some trees, friendly office and convenient to Old Town Cottonwood.

Easy check-in, although the lady could have been a little friendlier. easy to add additional nights if needed. Quiet setting, so better for older adults or families with no little kids. Clean laundry facility on site. Clean bathroom/shower rooms. Unfortunately during our stay the verde river access was closed and there was a burn ban so we couldn’t use the fire pit. If you don’t want the road noise, get a spot towards the back.

Location and staff was friendly

Stay was great, our spot was somewhat shaded which was nice. The only downside was it was really hot but of course we can’t control that!

My first time coming to this Rv park. Customer service was great! The Lady work at the office was very friendly, and helpful ; walk us through everything the park offer. The spaces are very specious. They have full hook ups work great. Very quiet and peaceful place. Looking out for the next stay. Very nice and clean RV Park. Thank you, I felt very welcome. I Will visit again soon.

Great location/access to state/other parks, river access, desert trails. Quiet park, nice views.
