Rio Verde RV Park — Reviews

The biggest concern I have when traveling is, Will I feel safe in this space. Rio Verde provided that comfort for us on our journey.

The staff was awesome. While making their rounds they noticed a sulfur smell coming from my camp site. The team member checked and discovered my battery was overheating. He immediately disconnected the battery to avoid what could have been a much bigger issue. Thank you!! We will be back. Also. We love the location and the sites are very well kept and clean! Five stars

The park has made them prevent since we were there last, however, I would say the bathrooms could use a little updating and maybe some toilet seat covers as well as paper towel towels I mean, I understand having a air dryer for sanitary reasons and less trash, but when you wanna wipe down the counter after somebody’s been in there, it is nice.

Park was clean, had plenty of room to maneuver, had very strong (and complimentary) WIFI. Staff were very helpful and friendly and there were great hiking trails right there. We are coming back!

Great camping RV spot. We were right by the river and an off leash dog area. Office was very helpful and friendly. Clean and heated bath house & laundry. We really enjoyed our time here and will definitely come back should we find ourselves in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Rio Verde RV Park! We had plenty of room at our site by the river. The site was clean, hookups were in great condition, and the firepit provided great relaxation in the cool evenings. The bathrooms were really nice and super clean. We also appreciated the walking/hiking trails in and near the park. To top it all off, the staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. Highly recommend!

Super clean camp! Spaces are wide, staff was great. It's close to the highway but there are a lot of spaces along the river with no road noise. Clean, big showers. New dog park. Walking trail along the river where you can fish. Close to Sedona and Jerome. Will go back!

Perfect spot to visit Sedona and other area attractions. Park was quiet and well maintained. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Definitely recommend and would stay again if we're ever in the area.

Very clean with great maintenance crew. They loaned an adapter we needed to hook up our sewer line. Mandy at the front desk had great suggestions on bike trails and the perfect lunch spot. We will visit again.

Well maintained park. Friendly people. Very centrally located to all of the fun Arizona spots. Only downside was it was a bit noisy due to proximity of the road. Would stay again!

Bathrooms are beautifully clean. There were sugar ants at our campsite but we worked around them. We were thrilled to see river otters at the Rio Verde river just 50 yards from our campsite!!!😊

Stayed 6 nights in site 7. Bathrooms/showers were very nice, clean, price was reasonable for private campground close to Sedona, 20 minutes...
