everything was great especially haunted house! pool too cold for adults

We’ve been coming for yrs. But a big change this yr. Starting with no blows ups at the entrance this yr and last yr .ti get you in the mood that it’s Halloween camping I realize that it’s different owners . No painting pumpkins or activities in the cafe. Being short staff from waiting in the cafe for food to getting wood delivered. Let’s just say it didn’t feel like Halloween.

While the place in a while was cool the cabin hasn’t seemed to be swept. There were cob webs everywhere that an easy sweep of a broom could help. The camp bathrooms as well, there also seemed to be dirt or black mold in the grout in the showers which made me feel not so clean personally even after taking a shower.

Small but cozy campground and loved the food! Very friendly. Loved the Saturday movie for kids swimming pond and the rafting kayaking trip!

Nice campground, but it rained before we got there and it was very muddy in the site we had.

no toilet paper in bathrooms pond could of been cleaner grading roads at 8am not a good time

Lot 119 was a very nice lot for our larger fifth wheel. Love that there is three types of water to enjoy in different ways: pool, pond and river. Enjoyed treats from the cafe especially the mozzarella sticks and icecream. Park was quiet. Met nice people.

The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Restrooms were clean, for the most part. It rained while we were there, so there was no expectation for the restrooms to be spotless. They bring the wood right to your site.

Is a first-timer to this Campground I'll give it a four for all around peacefulness & beauty however there are a few things that I wish they would work on. 1- the showers definitely need better either curtains or a door. 2 flimsy shower curtains blowing all over the place because they have the fan on the floor to try to keep things dry, which I get that but definitely need better shower covers, water pressure was nice though. 2nd- rubber mats on the floors throughout the bathroom. I know the signs are on the doors saying its humid but definitely could use the slip prove mats. 3rd- I would recommend getting a paper towel dispenser that's automatic instead of the one with just a little white paper towels you pull down. I know it's not the Camp's fault that people tear all the paper up and make a huge mess but it might help. 4- obviously the river isn't the camps fault either but this is just my review for others wanting to go tubing. Giant tree down at some point, if its shallow then prepare to walk but not far, definitely wear water shoes for that. But not the worst river we've been on. All in all this is in my top 3 campgrounds I have gone to so far. Staff is really friendly, we will be going again.

It’s a great campground for families. A lot for kids to do. We were passing through on our way to the UP. Camped here to ride the Pere Marquette Rail Trail. I didn’t give it a five because their washing machines were old and rusty so we didn’t do laundry.

There was plenty to do for the kids on one side of the campground, so the river had VERY few kids in it. The river was so relaxing, even on the 4th of July. Loved it!

This place had so much to do we never left the campground. Very family friendly I don't usually stay at the same place twice but I would stay here again one of the best campgrounds I have been to. Highly recommend for a relaxing weekend.
