Road Runner RV Resort Terms and Conditions 2026

Thank you for choosing Road Runner RV Resort for your stay in Red River, New Mexico, in the beautiful Sangre de Cristo Mountains!  Please make certain your dates and number of nights are correct on your reservation. 

Check-In/ Check-Out Times

During our open season of May 1- October 15, Office and Gate hours are 8:00 am – 8:00 pm.

RV site check-in 12:00 noon until 8:00 pm.   RV site check-out 11:00 am.   RV site check-out AFTER 11:00 am will result in an additional night charge.

Cabin check-in 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm.   Cabin check-out 10:00 am.  Cabin check-out AFTER 10:00 am will result in an additional night charge.

THERE ARE NO CHECK-INS AFTER 8:00 PM (NO EXCEPTIONS)

Early Departures/ Late Arrivals: There are no refunds for Early Departures nor Late Arrivals. Please plan your dates accordingly.

Site Assignments:  We do everything we can to accommodate your wishes for a particular site.  Your reservation does not guarantee you a particular site number unless you lock your site. 

Occupancy: All RV site rates are based on 4 people per site.  The maximum number of people allowed per site is 6.  Overnight Guests:  There is an additional charge of $5 per person per night for more than 4 people.  Children under 5 are free.  Day Visitors:  Registered Guests may entertain Day Visitors from 8:00am to 10:00pm.  Day Visitors are not allowed to drive into the Resort.  Day Visitors will park in the front parking lot and walk to the visiting site.  Registered Guests may also pick up their Day Visitors at the gate.  There is no charge for Day Visitors. 
 

Children: Must be accompanied by, and under the supervision of an adult at all times.  Parents are responsible for the behavior of their children at all times in the Resort and the Resort Store.  Please make sure bicycles, skateboards, scooters and other toys are not left in roads or communal areas.  Please do not throw rocks!    

Pets:  We are a pet-friendly Resort!  All pets must be on a leash at all times and clean-up after your pet is required.  Pets may not be left alone outside of your rig nor disturb other guests.  There is a limit of 3 pets per RV site and 2 pets per Cabin. Cabins have a non-refundable pet fee of $25 per pet.    

All Vehicles/ Trailers:  A UNIT is a car, truck, bumper pull, 5th wheel, cargo trailer, flatbed, motorhome, UTV, ATV, motorcycle, etc.  All UNITS must be properly tagged and tags must be visible.  Two UNITS are included with each reservation.  Additional UNITS are $5 per unit, per night, subject to availability of parking.  Sleeping is only allowed in units that are manufactured for the purpose of camping and have full hook-ups. No tent or car camping is allowed anywhere on the property.   Never drive vehicles around the park from site to site, Office or Shower House.  All units must be driven from your site, directly out the gate and back to your site.

Electric Vehicles of Any Kind will be charged an additional $5 per day.  This also applies to rentals.

Campfires:  Propane fires ONLY in sites 200-221.  Propane and off-the-ground firepits, such as solo stoves, are required in sites 1-8, 14-31, 53-58 and A, B, D, E. All other sites have rock or rock/ steel in-ground firepits for campfires. Campfires are permitted until 11:00 pm. NEVER leave your fire unattended and put it out completely before going to bed. 

Adult Section RV Sites 200-221: are designated for ADULTS ONLY (18 years and older).  At no time are children or campfires permitted in this area.

Generators:  Use of generators is not permitted.

Sewer Hose: Seals are required.

Washing RV, Maintenance Repair, Changing Oil: None of these are allowed on the premises.

Shower House and Restrooms:  Available for Resort guests only.  Bicycles nor pets are permitted in the Shower House. 

Laundry:  No clotheslines are allowed at camp sites.  Please use the laundry facility for all your laundry needs.

Drones: Drones are strictly prohibited on property.

Quiet Hours: 10:00 pm to 7:00 am.  Be courteous to your neighbors and keep noise to a minimum.

No Tent Camping Allowed:  Canopies and easy-ups that do not use stakes will be allowed if site space permits.  WE DO NOT ALLOW ANY STAKES IN THE GROUND, NO EXCEPTIONS.  NO TARPS PERMITTED.

RV Site Cancellation Policy

All nights reserved are to be paid in full prior to your arrival.  A 50% deposit will be required. 

  • Cancelling 30 days or more prior to your arrival will result in a $50 cancellation fee.
  • Cancelling 14-29 days prior to your arrival will result in a 2 night charge based on the site type you have reserved. 
  • Cancelling 13 days or less prior to your arrival will result in the deposit being forfeited.
  • Cancelling on the day of arrival will result in the deposit being forfeited. 

Cabin Cancellation Policy

All nights reserved are to be paid in full prior to your arrival.  A 50% deposit will be required.

  • Cancelling 30 days or more prior to your arrival will result in a $100 charge.
  • Cancelling less than 30 days prior to your arrival will result in the deposit being forfeited.
  • Cancelling on the day of arrival will result in the deposit being forfeited. 

Monthly Cancellation Policy

All nights reserved are to be paid in full prior to your arrival.  A $1,000 deposit per month will be required.

  • Cancelling 30 days or more prior to your arrival will result in a $500 charge.
  • Cancelling less than 30 days prior to your arrival will result in the deposit being forfeited.   
  • Cancelling on the day of arrival will result in the deposit being forfeited. 

Holiday/ Special Event Rates and Cancellation Policy

  • All Holiday and Special Event reservations have a 3 night minimum and are to be paid in full 30 days prior to arrival.  A 50% deposit will be required.  DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. 
  • RV sites and Cabins cancelled at any time over a Holiday/ Special Event results in the deposit being forfeited.

  • Vino in the Valley – June 19-21
  • Independence Day – July 2-5
  • 8750 BBQ and Music Festival – August 12-15
  • Labor Day – September 4-7
  • Oktoberfest – October 8-11 

Owners/ Management: Owners and/or Management assume no responsibility for accidents, injuries or loss from any cause to clientele and guests.  We reserve the right to evict any person(s) without refund for detrimental conduct or for failure to abide by any of our rules and policies.
