The people are so kind and caring the swimming pool is great

The price was right ! We stayed only a week for 134.00$. Train tracks are very close and they blow the whistle A LOT. People are friendly and love to talk. very peaceful, safe and pleasant place to stay . Really nice heated pool.

Everything was fine, had to knock off one star because of the train tracks close by . You do get more used to the noise after awhile.

The people are so nice and the new swimming pool is a great addition to the property friends do karaoke every other week or so and you can't find a better place to spend the winter Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to spend the winter months than at the Sandbar RV resort park in Dade City 🤠🎸😎

Despite the train whistles, the people are nice and friendly.

I wasn’t able to camp due to a family emergency and notified the campground in advance. However, they actually sent me a bill for electricity use. I’ve emailed them about the situation but have not yet received a response. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. Bill me for electricity use when I wasn’t even there. I won’t reserve there again and will also discourage my friends and family from doing so as well.

I was not informed when I registered that I would have to pay a separate electric bill and never before at any RV park. Sand Bar resorts charge my card for a separate power bill on the final invoice. :(

Sites are not very level and you will sink in the the grassy sand that you are parked on. Gopher holes too many to count.

Great value and nice people

Very clean, very friendly.

1. There are train tracks just feet away from the park. Trains run all night and must sound their horn when they approach. The ground shakes and no matter where you are in the park, the horn is EXTREMELY loud. You WILL be woken up in the night. 2.The park is also next to a dirt road so dust blankets most everything. 3. Sewage is churned and ground up right in the park out of site and when the wind blows your way the odors are hard to take. 4. As far as I can tell, the park is NOT handicaps accessible. There is a resident here in a wheelchair who is unable to access bathrooms, showers, and even the dog park. In fact, the park office is up a flight of stairs! 5. Pitbull and Pitbull mixed breeds, of any size are allowed in the park. I have personally witnessed on SEVERAL occasions, Pitbull's having to be restrained by their owners to keep them from attacking other guests dogs. 6. The water for the entire park can be shut off with no notice at any given time if someone has a plumbing issue. I have personally experienced this 4 times, with one of them my own plumbing issue. 7. The office manager and maintenance man could care less about making your stay pleasant. Their priority is making sure you know who's boss around here.

The only reason for the 4star, is the laundry, half the washers and dryers do not work...they accept your money but do not work. The other almost reason is (not quite their fault) the pool....stayed there almost four months and they started digging three months ago, I guess they are waiting for the concrete to dry.....still month and a half should be ok guys. ...yes I would and probably will stay there again. The staff is very nice indeed, people are friendly, oh and if you are bothered by trains...ya might wanna check out some place different..trains run 24-7 right besides the resort.

This is an amazing community, everyone is super friendly. Nice quiet, area no big frills. We cannot wait to return in November.

Not a resort. More like a grass parking lot. Trains will rattle your teeth loose.

Nice park can’t wait to come back when they get the new pool installed

We love this resort. We have stayed three times this winter and really enjoyed all three stays. Our only issue was that they charged us electricity on our most recent stay. They didn’t charge us before and I didn’t understand why they did this time. They said “ Utilities are not included in the rates.” so just be warned that this is an extra cost for staying here. Fortunately, this is a very reasonable resprt so even with the electricity charge it’s still much cheaper than a lot of other resorts.

When I arrived on Sunday afternoon there was no one there, no information or site # assigned. The guests there said “yup they take your money, then don’t give you a site #”. I left a message and my phone # twice to call me or I’ll park wherever I want. No call so I went to a site and hooked up. Not very level either. I had to do laundry but the coin machine was broken. The office was no help & just kept saying “we don’t keep any money in the office” like I was going to rob them or something. The machines were old and some out of order. The washers were $2. Dryer was $2. But you wouldn’t know that in advance. Only after dumping quarters in until it worked did I know the cost. The morning I was leaving I got a voicemail from the office saying “we sent you an email with your site # but you aren’t in there. Call us back”. I didn’t. I left. Oh and the train goes through multiple times a day and night. I mean right beside the campers! Blows that horn long and loud. I didn’t lose sleep but consider it if you stay there. I will not return. The residents and fellow guests were all very nice!!!
