I'm giving 2 stars because we made it work and still had fun. They have great amenities that would maybe demand the high price for campsites, but we unfortunately could not use the hot tub, sauna, and most importantly a whole restroom. The whole camp was down to 2 women's toilets, 1 for men. It doesn't take much to order a round of sanicans to alleviate an emergency drain field problem. Or turn off the irrigation over the drain field to not make it keep getting worse. There are only teenagers working and none of them have the knowledge to solve common but huge problems. Advertised boat rentals at the desk were broken and unavailable. Not hard to change the sign. No apologies were offered just free mini golf. The stench from the sewage backup was difficult to deal with and the streams of sewage water were hardly mitigated.

Before we think there is some sand nearby beach , but actually no sand only have mud there and some bugs bite skin . But camping grounds and RV site is useful, crew service are warmful , swimming pool is very welcome to kids.

Very dirty, garbage everywhere. Sauna was not working. Pool had debris everywhere, wasn’t heated. Location was good, park and management very poor.

The campground was clean, and there was so much to do for the whole family! The lake was a neat experience, volleyball and horseshoes were fun, and the kiddo loved being able to play mini golf, basketball and make new friends at the playground. The Lenore caves nearby made a fun outing close by too. Overall, we loved it and plan on returning some time!

Smokiam is great, as always. Some people not respecting rules makes me choose 4 instead of 5 starts. Hard to enforce rules when people are out for recreation...

This was our first visit and it was awesome. Nice RV spots, amenities, friendly staff, delicious lemonade and clean facilities. My only complaint is that they need to enforce “pick up your dog poop” that’s all we smelled throughout our stay.

This was the most expensive camp spot I’ve ever been to and the rv spot was so smallthat your actually sitting about 8feet from the people next to you wont be doing that one again
