Standing Pines RV Resort & Campground: Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Standing Pines RV Resort & Campground! Our goal is to ensure every guest enjoys a safe, welcoming, and memorable stay in a truly family-friendly environment. We ask all guests to help create a positive atmosphere by respecting others, supervising children and pets, and having fun in ways that do not disturb fellow campers. Mutual courtesy, consideration, and community spirit are expected in all interactions at Standing Pines.

By entering Standing Pines, guests acknowledge and accept the risks inherent in outdoor activities, camping, and interacting with natural terrain and wildlife, and assume all responsibility for their health, safety, and property while on resort grounds.

Reservation & Payment

  • All reservations require at least a 50% deposit; the full balance is due three days prior to check-in. 

  • Any additional charges from your stay—such as store purchases or damages—will be processed within two business days after checkout. Guests have five business days to contact us with questions or disputes.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancel 15 or more days before arrival for a full refund minus a 5% fee.

  • Cancel 8–14 days before arrival for a full refund minus a 50% fee.

  • Cancel within seven days of arrival for a full refund minus a 75% fee.

  • After arrival, cancelled or unused nights are non-refundable.

  • In special situations, management may assist with rescheduling to help guests avoid cancellation fees—please contact the office as soon as possible if your plans change.

Guest Conduct & Courtesy

  • Please respect your neighbors and help maintain a peaceful environment. We are a dark park to encourage star gazing with designated quiet hours from 10pm to 7am.

  • Alcohol (open container) is permitted only at your campsite. Illegal substances are strictly prohibited throughout the entire campground.

  • The use of tobacco in any form is strictly prohibited in all indoor buildings and common areas.

Vehicles, RVs & Equipment

  • Only guests with paid reservations may enter and occupy sites.  Guests must complete either in person or online check in prior to entering campsite(s). Guests who fully check in on line and arrive after hours may go directly to their campsite(s).  

  • Electric golf carts, scooters, e-bikes, and similar vehicles require a valid operator’s license and proof of insurance to be used at Standing Pines. Please note that Standing Pines reserves the right to charge a fee for use of these vehicles or to repair any damage caused by their use. We do not allow guests to use gas powered recreational vehicles - only electric carts and similar are permitted. 

  • All RVs, campers, and vehicles should be in good working order, including a visually appealing exterior.

Pet Policy

  • Up to three pets are allowed per site. All pets must be on leashes (except in designated off-leash areas), cleaned up after, and not disruptive.

  • All pets must have proof of vaccination available for management review.

  • Aggressive or disruptive animals may be restricted at management’s discretion.

Firearms & Weapons

  • Standing Pines does not permit open or concealed carry of firearms anywhere on the property, regardless of permit status.

  • All firearms must remain fully secured and locked inside vehicles or RVs at all times while at Standing Pines.

  • Violation of this policy is grounds for immediate removal from the property.

Nature, Safety, and Emergencies

  • Standing Pines includes significant natural areas with attendant dangers from wildlife and terrain. Visitors and guests use our facilities at their own risk and are strongly encouraged to follow all safety suggestions.

  • Supervise children at all times throughout the property.

  • In case of emergency, call 911. Please report any safety concerns to resort management.

Damages, Liability, & Waivers

Guests are fully responsible for any damage to resort property, landscaping, or facilities caused by themselves, their pets, their equipment, or anyone in their party. By making a reservation, all guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless Standing Pines management for any injuries, accidents, or property loss incurred during their stay.

Standing Pines is private property. Guests and visitors consent to use of images taken at Standing Pines for marketing purposes. Please stop by the Welcome Center to request photo privacy by completing our Photo Privacy Form.

Resort management reserves the unconditional right to remove anyone from the premises at any time and for any reason, without notice or refund. A reservation provides only a temporary license to use the assigned site and amenities, and continued access is strictly subject to adherence with all resort policies, posted rules, and staff instructions at all times.

Failure to comply with these expectations may result in immediate removal from the property.

General Provisions

  • Check-in: 2pm / Check-out: 10am. Maximum reservation: 28 nights, up to 84 nights total with renewal.

  • Park only in designated areas. Golf carts must be electric. No mail service is available at sites.

  • All guests must comply with posted rules and cooperate with resort staff at all times.

  • Standing Pines is not responsible for interruptions in amenities, loss of recreational opportunities, or refunds due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.

  • In the event of a dispute not resolved by mutual agreement, parties agree to seek resolution through mediation or arbitration prior to pursuing legal action.
