Once wifi is available at each site and public bathroom facilities are created instead of porta potties this will be a 5 star campsite. Easy access, pool, friendly service.

No public showers at the moment. Pool was dirty. Other than that, it was clean, grass was cut, the staff was pleasant. We only stayed for one night. Seems many of the people staying there are living there? Place has potential. And it was very convenient to the highway!

Great stop for 10 days. The new owners are working hard to get this campground up to their standards and their site information gives an accurate account of what is and is not available. Wi-Fi and bath house are coming but not yet available. The electrical upgrade is super, all new picnic tables and fire rings are appreciated as well! Owners are caring and kind, would definitely stay again!

You advertised showers and Wi-Fi but didn’t have either. I was in a camping van and looking for both

Everyone was super nice. I guess we came on an off weekend, since the tent camping area was super empty, just us and another family a couple spots away. Honestly that was super nice. We had tons of space to ourselves, and the grounds were really well kept.

Great campsite, close to state park. The pool was great with the hot temps! The campground will be even better when the shower houses are completely renovated. This was a great value and I would recommend to anyone wanting to hike Starved Rock.

Nice host. They are just getting going but will be a very nice campground when fully up and running. For us it was perfect Very nice spot on a concrete pad with sewer water and electric. Pool nice temp. Will be back.

No washrooms were available yet. We had our own but some others did not. The $55 a night could have been reduced until washrooms were available.

Loved this campground under different name. Was closed for 2 years and now is reopened with different name. During the 2 years when was interactive no work was done. New owners are in the process of upgrading it back to its earlier glory.

We had the best time .. Great host great site when everything is done this will be the place to go !! We will definitely be back !
