Had a lovely time. Staff was nice! I gave it a four star because I think they could do a little more work on the tent campsites!

my. campsite 340 has an underground water pipe leak. The asphalt roads are I'm terrible shape. The cost was high for these two conditions.

So the campsite was beautiful, but there were a lot of disturbances during the night. There was a group of campers who were yelling and playing loud music sometimes from 10 to 1 AM and they never really did anything. On one of the nights I was out there. The group actually started to fight and it sounded like they were brawling.. I saw the police come by at one point and it looked like they were gonna do something but the people who were camping there weren’t at their 10 I think they’re at the laser show so they did nothing . The same campers came back later that night and then they made tons of loud noises again until 1 AM so I didn’t really enjoy my time out at Stone Mountain until those people left. So I want to come back again. I just want them to be able to control campers or remove them if they’re not gonna follow the rules.

The campsite was pretty pathetic. The road through the set of campsites where I stayed was in poor shape, the site I originally selected was very slanted and looked like it had been washed out. Not sure where I would have fit a tent on it so I asked to be moved. The closest bathroom had not been well maintained.

Nice park and everyone was helpful and nice! We’ll be back soon!

Our first time and we loved it. The only improvements could be M loop road and picnic tables.

Because it was.

The bottom bunk bed was a futon couch and it was not comfortable according to my son. When I stayed in yurt #10 a year ago, the top and bottom bunk beds was very comfortable and nice. It was also hard for my daughter to get up and down the bunk because there was no opening so she had to climb over and out. The bathroom was too far from our yurt. What we did like about it was riding our scooters around the camp site. I liked the view with the water behind our yurt. We did the attractions and Stone Mountain while we stayed there and it was really nice to come back to an air conditioning room after a scorching hot outing.

It was ok. Not great. Wifi is absolutely awful

Camping was pleasant, clean, no bug infestation and very relaxing

The camping is very good. Have a lots things to do. The bathroom is clean.

Stone Mountain Campground is in a very nice location with a variety of enjoyable amenities in the area. The campground itself needs an overhaul of its roads and facilities, including various wooded camp sites. Overall, the grounds are in a quiet wooded environment that is peaceful and filled with birds and other wildlife! It is a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

This is large campground with generous sites. and most are well shaded. The road is a bit rough tree roots and pot holes. The bathrooms were outdated and mostly clean. I understand it isn't a resort, but some updating is in order. The trash pick up is a great idea. Super quiet and lots to do! We found the trash pickup person would drive by garbage lying out in its designated area. Then, the squirrels were tearing up bags. Getting around the park was a breeze. The front desk and camp store personnel were friendly - even with weary travelers. The pool was a great temperature and the area was well cared for and clean. We had no issue getting a table with an umbrella and loungers. Note to future campers - Starlink did not work great in the heavily wooded areas. But, I guess I needed to unplug.

We’ve been Yurting for 7 years there. We have a Friends tradition. We love Stone Mountain!!! BUT with that said parts of places need to be maintained better. The area needs to be maintained by the water and around yurt. Landscaper should be require every Friday or something. The past two years we have walked through weeds to the fire pit, to the water, to the picnic tables. Makes it buggy. We got no info on the pavilion being bulldozed, as we use it and plans are made around it. Just a notice would have been appreciated. If I missed it, than my apologies. The park could offer more with the boat tours. Could do like $50 family of 4 (extra per ex. Cost) like a dinner/night cruise. Except you allow the family to bring their dinner and drinks, you offer the ambiance, lighting and provide Bingo and Dj. A water park with slides could really bring in more people as well. The Zipline is a great addition. Bring back Snow-Mountian. Have Music Festival for people to come and camp for. Again, we love our tradition and the park, the possibilities at the park are endless.

Check in and Check out were easy, amenities were excellent. We love the Yurt experience!

The area is beautiful , views of the lake from most. The sights are in good shape. Fairly level. The staff was very pleasant and professional. They offer trash pick up, and a free lake tour. The pool is nice as well. On a negative note, our washing machine went out in our coach so we had to use the onsite laundry. It took going to the third laundry room to find a working washing machine Several of the roads could be resurfaced.
