Awesome time @ The Lake!!

Great place to camp! Facilities very clean. Staff very friendly. Special attention given when we arrived since there had been a bad storm the night before we arrived. We were escorted to our site to make sure it wasn’t too wet for us to place our tent. The only negative was that there were a lot of tics we believe were dropping from the trees. We moved the picnic table from under the trees and that helped greatly. The lighthouse was an added bonus! Our dog enjoyed the dog park!

The park was very open with lots of space between sites, cerv nice grass to create an overall very nice and relaxing site. The Camp host were always available if needed.

Summersville Lake Retreat Campground was phenomenal! The owners were so nice, facilities incredibly clean and well kept. My children (2.5 and 4 years) absolutely loved the playground and space to run (and roll down the hill). The dog park was outfitted with water and toys for the dogs, as well as plenty of room to run. The views are spectacular! My family all agreed we’d happily return! The full hook up campsites are spacious and well equipped with beautiful fire pits and two chairs. We enjoyed some hiking (Long Point Trail) and being tourists at the New River Gorge Bridge. It was a wonderful weekend away, and we will absolutely return to camp here again!
