This campground was a perfect weekend getaway and the staff is so friendly and accommodating. We utilized every hiking trail, the peddleboats, and showers. We nearly completed the scavenger hunt, we got 10 out of 12. We rented a grill and purchased over 20 bags of wood, but with the wood wet and the fire pit with 7" of wet ash, we never got to grill on the fire. The showers are free and if you're patient, they get hot. Since there are only 10 tent sites, the bathrooms are rarely used and clean. Its just a shame that every bathroom is so far from the tent sites. They are nestled among the RV sites which is odd because they tend to have bathrooms. We expect to visit again but with our own portable toilet. *we did have an adult RV neighbor who invited herself onto our tent site through a bush line behind our tent, im grateful that we were on site to discourage her snooping*

Camp sites were nicely laid out. We arrived whe the office was closed and our key and paperwork was left for us on a bulletin board. Bath rooms were clean and nicely kept. This is the second time we stayed there.

Our grandchildren joined us for the day and had a great time with the many activities. Day passes for the adults are a very reasonable price. Our site was large enough to be comfortable for sitting outside. The only negative was our first assigned site was flooded. But we were able to move so it turned out well. The bathhouse was clean and well maintained.

The Quarrybis a really wonderful campground. The staff were incredibly kind and it was a nice surprise to see the crafting activities they had for the weekend. Woth 4 children stretching in age from 3 to 11, it can be hard for everyone to have something to do bit the Quarry didnt disappoint. The only drawback was being in a tent site that had very little grass and was mostly rocky ground. Be sure to have a sleeping pad if you're tent camping.

Great campground. Large sites. We were in site 67. Quiet and wooded. There are a lot of seasonals, but we were there during the week and it was very calm. Nice trails to walk. Two ponds, one for swimming and one for fishing. Nice playground and special events on the weekends for the kiddos. Staff was happy and helpful. Propane fill available. They only have gray dump at the sites but they do have a dump station. Wasn't a problem for our 3 nights. Would definitely come back when in the area.
