The Quarry Campground — Reviews

I stayed at The Quarry for one night and had a great experience despite a thunderstorm rolling through. The campground is beautifully maintained, with spacious sites nestled among plenty of trees, giving it a peaceful, wooded vibe. The amenities were a standout—clean, comfortable showers and bathrooms , which was a welcome treat after a long day of travel. The Wi-Fi was surprisingly strong and reliable, perfect for staying connected. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the grounds were clearly well cared for. I noticed quite a few long-term residents, which gave the place a lived-in, community feel, though it didn’t detract from the welcoming atmosphere for short-term campers like myself. The thunderstorm made the night a bit noisy, but the site drained well, and there were no issues with mud or flooding. Overall, I’d recommend The Quarry . I’d definitely return if I’m in the area again!

Thought we had full hookup. Bath house with showers had mold in them. Gravel sites not very level. Glad it was for only 1 night. The office was very friendly.

Clean with friendly and helpful staff. Sites were close together is only complaint.

Overall, the campground was really nice great facilities good location campsites are very nice. Had to buy a special gray water hook up, which overflowed on our site and the dump station is not a standard hook up. I couldn’t flush out after.

Excellent facilities. Clean hot showers. New water lines and power outlets at tent sites. Staff called before they closed for the night to confirm and make arrangements for our late arrival. Recommend this campground to other travelers.

Friendly staff, beautiful grounds, fun activities for the kids.

Lovely campground. Family run. Lots of care and attention to trails, activities, sites. I travelled with my dog so the fenced in dog park area was also really nice to stretch his legs with other pups. We stayed at a tent site with power and water. Small recommendation (and probably already on their list to attend to as the owners seem so forward thinking) is an update to shower stalls. Overall terrific and I look forward to returning. Thanks for the hospitality!

This is such a great campground. The staff at the front office were friendly and helpful. There are lots of activities. We especially enjoyed all of the hiking trails around the park. We also enjoyed how quiet the campground was. We only stayed overnight, but we would definitely come back again.

Cool place. Everything was clean and nice. It was quiet and very well organized. Only wish there had been a change machine in the laundry.

Spotless. Fantastic staff. Food truck came One day as well. Such a nice spot. Great trails for the dog waking to. Even a dog beach.

It’s the best campground around the owners go above and beyond.

Good for the price. Pull thru gravel site was almost level. As I’m a traveling photographer I don’t spend much time at the camp so didn’t use any of the amenities except the showers. They were relatively clean and hot, but the push button was annoying. Also the roads are a bit bumpy. I use a T Mobile Wi-Fi device and service was good.

Absolutely wonderful experience. They are doing a great job with this camp. Great, helpful people. When leaving after a week long stay we needed air in one of the duallies on our RV. They went above and beyond to get us the air we needed. We would absolutely stay here again.

Very clean and well run. It was a pleasure.

The staff were extremely helpful during our stay including bringing us a length of water hose when ours wasn’t long enough. The site was very clean and maintained. I would highly recommend The Quarry Campground. Beautiful area of CT
