Timberline Campground is nestled on the outskirts of Waukee, Iowa, which is located just a few miles west of West Des Moines. It is conveniently situated one and a half miles away from Interstate 80, but your ears won’t be able to tell. 7 Available Sites
There are two sections of the campground with varied site types. One section has larger pull thru and back in sites with no tree cover. The other section has mature trees and shade cover with both pull thru and back in sites
These sites have both back in and pull thru options with water hook-ups, 30 or 50 amp electric, fire rings and picnic tables. There is shade cover in much of this section of the campground. Please note that site 90 is all grass and will need quite a bit of leveling
These cabins have a deck, living area with a couch, dining room table with 4 chairs, a kitchen with a full size refrigerator, microwave, stove top (no oven) and coffee pot, dishes and pots and pans. The master bedroom has a queen bed, couch folds out to a queen and the loft has 2 twin mattresses with room for a full size blow up. They also have a private patio area by the pond with a picnic table, 4 chairs and fire pit. Please note that Cabin 10 is a similar layout, but more rustic and sits in the back of the campground facing the trees. You will need to supply your own bedding and bathroom towels.
Cabins 1, 2 and 3 are nestled against the woods and are primitive. They include a double bed, bunk beds and a desk and chair. These cabins have small front porch area with chairs, as well as a picnic table and fire ring. Must bring your own bedding.
Small cabins have a deck, queen bed, separate room with bunk beds, dining table with 4 chairs, small kitchenette with a microwave, coffee maker and hotel size fridge. They also have a private patio area overlooking the pond with a picnic table, 4 chairs and fire pit. You will need to supply your own bedding and bathroom towels.
These tent sites have no water or electric but do have a fire ring and picnic table.
