Friendly staff, clean facility

This campground is largely permanent or seasonal residents and may be a converted mobile home park. The appearance left a lotto be desired and the dirt entrance road fromw the highway was pretty rough. The sewer connections were not conveniently placed and the water connections were flex pipes lying on the ground. The water, sewer and electric were adequate, but not first rate.

We stayed I. A pull-through site that was very convenient. The weather was perfect; even a little rain to wash the dust from our truck and camper. The only negative were the bathrooms. They stunk! Luckily, we didn’t have to use them but a couple of times.

The campground was fantastic again. This is our third year camping here at this time every year.

The location off Hwy 14 was perfect for our weekend. We had full hookup site 35, which had plenty of space. We enjoyed having the trail access to the Cibola National Forest and that they were pet friendly. There was a trail in the campground that was nice for dog walks. There are many "live in" folks here, but they were off to work during the day and at night was quiet. The Office staff were friendly and the lobby is beautiful, like a lodge. The restrooms were clean, but we did not use the showers, which require tokens.

Bad smell from sewage hook up. Hook up for neighbors hose is next to passenger side of my trailer, no more that 3 feet. My picnic table was warped at least 8” on the top and the seat. You could not sit there. Probably should be 2 stars

Excellent customer service. Check in was quick and easy. The tent site was clean and roomy. Power at the site was a little of a distance from site but that was manageable. The restrooms and showers were clean. It does take tokens and are timed but plenty of time for cleaning yourselves up. And you can always ask for another token. Campsites are quiet and even have a little shade. The Campsite is close to restaurants and even a good supermarket. Highly recommend a

We had a one night stay. Spots were close, walking our dog was a bit of a challenge, he was good about it but many dogs in the park were loud. Nearby neighborhood dogs appeared to be out all night and barked a lot.

It's a great place with good views and a quite simple hiking trail. Customer service was great had indoor shower and bathrooms with heating, wash station, and water pump station, during the cold season the dish wash area and bath houses are closed. Only problem I had was the other camper across from me was really close and was able to hear every conversation he had, especially when it came to quite time he didn't respect the hours and talked on the phone on speaker for a couple hours. Other than that it's a good place to go but if you want peace and quite when going by your self I suggest renting an small cabin it's worth the extra money.

We were put in a space that was full of mud from precipitation that had fallen well before my arrival, sewer connections were side by side yet closer to the perfectly dry ground lot directly next to the mud hole they put me in. Why would you do that when you could have put me one space over.... went to dump tanks and the cap was too tight...
