Nice staff, great sites. Bathroom stalls and showers are tiny.

This campground has always been friendly and sites are clean. The staff has always been amazing and great to interact with. I highly recommend staying here if it’s for one night or the weekend. Very kid friendly, everything the staff does for a weekend getaway is focused around kids which is what draws me to this campground. I highly recommend staying here. Thank you walnut hills staff for all you guys do. It’s great. Keep it up.

The staff was very friendly at check in and were well versed at all the pertinent information. The camp store was very well laid out with some cool nic-nac’s (we purchased a shot glass) and plenty of emergency items. The site we chose was 305. Backed right up to the pond with our 19 foot pull behind. The pads were laid out nicely and I didn’t have to do any leveling. We didn’t use any of the outbuildings but I’m sure they were as clean as the rest of the grounds. You could tell the folks who run Walnut Hills love what they do and take pride in their product. We will definitely come back if the chance arises again! Oh! The WiFi was definitely a plus!

We loved the amenities, the site itself, and the location. The bathrooms could use a slight upgrade but everything worked just fine for our needs. The store was well stocked and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful! They pick up trash every morning and even offered to drop off firewood. We wish the pond was little cleaner for fishing but we’d be happy to camp there again.

We had an excellent time with family and friends at Walnut Hills Campground during a weekend stay! The staff were accomodating and friendly, the grounds were well-maintained and overall the place was conveniently located to local hikes and lovely scenery. We plan to come back for another visit this fall!
