    Our camp trip was lots of fun! Love how they have the different activities for the kids. Our site was perfect for us as a family. Enjoyed seeing all the trick-or-treating kids different costumes. Our grandchildren had loads of fun! The staff is friendly and helpful. We will be back!

    great campground and great people. Staff noticed I was struggling getting my campfire going and showed up without being asked with some nice dry pine. Little touches like that are what separate out great businesses from good businesses. Hope to be back again some day.

    Walnut Hills is a beautiful place! From the pond to the playground to the cabins for those of us who prefer "glamping", there's something for all ages. It was perfectly situated about 10 minutes (or less) outside of a small, rural town where you'll find a delightful store with local food products like jam, salsa, cheese, and dry ingredients. Our cabin was quaint and had the bathroom I desired versus trekking to the bathhouse. There was room for my husband, myself, and our two boys. It could have slept maybe one more person. Bed linens and towels were provided to our surprise! It wasn't spotless, but it was worth it to me. Some camp sites had small decks by the pond, which were adorable. There was also a kids' pavilion, where crafts were planned. During our weekend, campers were encouraged to have candy so the kids could trick-or-treat. My older son caught 4 fish and my younger son had fun in his costume. We made slime, too! A electronic-free weekend away was just what we needed!

    We enjoyed several nights in mid-July. They have a power/water loop which is well designed so big rigs have pull through or back in options. Currently you have to make a loop through the original part of the campground to access the dump station, but they hope to add sewer to this loop in the future. Nice pool, friendly accommodating staff in a beautiful area of Virginia.

    Very nice and friendly staff. Super clean campground and very pretty with pond and trees. Nice good sized and level sites. Easy to get too right off highway. Quick ride into downtown Staunton. Cute town.

    Loved the area - close to Shenandoah National Park! The campground itself is beautiful with the lake and the ducks and even a great blue heron! Cell signal was strong which made it perfect for working remotely. Bathrooms were clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.
