The park is ok. The site was narrow. The picnic table was on the drivers side so not convenient to use. I was able to get a Starlink signal. Water and power at each site. Very close to a beautiful beach.

The sites are always so clean and neat! You get to meet so many amazing people while on the grounds! The staff is super friendly and amazing in assisting with any questions you may have while you’re there! Plus the ice cream makes the perfect treat after a long day in the heat!

The campsite was a little small, but it was nice that it had electric and was partially shaded during the day. The bathrooms were deplorable! They were almost full up to the top and one didn’t even have toilet paper. This was even after the second day of being there. The beach is beautiful and the concession stand and bathrooms by the pavilion are very nice. But the camping site in the south camping spot is terrible! We would never stay in the southside again! We live locally and many people were discouraged and said that they would never come back. That is very sad. As the beach and what it has to offer is very beautiful.

The portable toilet infron of the camp sites is smelling really bad that we can’t even breathe. Hope they have modern toilets in easily accessible area. Flies and insects everywhere even in day time.

Everything was great, as usual. Been coming for many years. The only complaint was we had one wonky mattress in the tiny cabin. This was our first time staying in the tiny cabin and we loved it because it faced the woods and creek. We’ve stayed in several of the other cabins and always had darn good mattresses, so it was a slightly unpleasant surprise to have a pretty crappy mattress. Only the one though, the other one was fine.

My family and I have been visiting Wako Campground since 2018, and it has become one of our favorite summer traditions. The staff is always welcoming, accommodating, and friendly, making every visit enjoyable. We love the beautiful beach, peaceful atmosphere, and the memories we’ve made here over the years. We always look forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

Great place to go camping. Very close to the beach

Nice place for camping, enjoying beach and nature.

The campground hostess was able to switch us to a different camping space that worked out perfectly! And it was just a short walk to the beach. The restroom and shower facilities were kept very clean and the beach overall was amazing. We enjoyed our visit and will be back.!
