Nice place, wish they'd remove or change the light direction for campsite 54.

The positive: Location is great with easy walk to the beach. Ravine with campsites is pretty. Deer wandered the campsites every night and morning. The negative: Roads are hard to get a camper down and back up. Dump station is at an angle so hard to completely emtpy the camper. Bathrooms are not real clean, would not use the shower. Shower house was connected to both men and women's restrooms in the back, so did not feel safe to use, and the showers were gross.

Great camp spot right on the beach nestled into the forest. 6 miles of amazing Lake Michigan beach and connected to Warren Dunes state park where I could have my dogs on the beach. Some spots aren’t level though so call and ask which ones are level if that’s a concern.

I would love to see the creek be cleared off all the glass and debris that could potentially hurt someone other than that! We enjoyed our stay as we do ever year!

The entire trip was great. The check in was very easy and the staff was very polite. The cabin we rented was very clean. Security drove thru the campground often and you felt very safe. Bathrooms were typical campground bathrooms but all were kept very clean. Only complaint is the port a pottys on the south loop appeared to be recently cleaned but none of them had hand sanitizer in them.

The campsite is TINY TINY. There is no access to water and the staff was no help. Bonfire pit is on the border of our site and the next so we can’t sit around it without being ON the site next to us. Bathrooms are filthy and hot. Some ventilation would be nice and it wouldn’t hurt to hose them out once in a while. The only thing going for this place is proximity to Lake Michigan. That’s it.

The permanent site person (Kim) next to our site created unnecessary drama. Stated we parked on her site (inches per the police officer) and complained to office 3x requiring police to come to our site. It was ridiculous. She must live a very miserable life to create such unnecessary drama.

The grounds were very clean bathrooms cleaned daily and the staff were very helpful w directions to places

We loved the closeness to the beach. Strong water pressure in the showers was a plus too!! We actually thought the site was a good size. We’ll be back. Just wished there was a size large Weko Beach maroon tshirt in stock, magnet or shot glass available to commemorate the trip!

We love Weko it has been our back to school camp trip for the last 4 or 5 years. Knocked a star off because the bath house on our side had a few broken showers so there were a couple nights there was a line. For the location and access to the beach you cannot beat it.

Weko beach is a gem. Besides its natural beauty, the park is well managed. I could wish for people to follow quiet hours more diligently and for a shower house in the south loop. I have had trouble finding spaces available, even when using the reservation system as soon as it opens, but I do ❤️ Weko!

It's great camp ground and the new bathrooms are nice. However, they took the dumpster from first pull in, and put 2 dumpsters in the last pull in. It was inconvenient.

Too many ruts & the picnic table was in very poor condition. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.
