I was at site no 98, the fire pit in it is in the middle of the site, there is no good spot for the tent to keep it away from the fire pit. All the ash from it was on my tent as it was too close. Facility is old, washrooms are basic, staff are really nice and helping.

Pros: friendly staff, most beautiful sunsets to view over the lake, nice and close to home. Cons: It was very very stinky (cow poop? The standing water?) when we were there which definitely got in the way of enjoyment. Also, there is ZERO privacy, which I couldn’t see from the photos. Everyone can see everyone.

Sites were very close together, gates were locked at 10pm so couldn’t enter site. Had a smell to it but that could be because of the blue algae in water which we were unaware, that we could not use as there wasn’t efficient signs posted. Site itself had lots of ants. Owners/management were very friendly with good customer service. washer and dryer available, which was convenient however, tons of bugs/mosquitoes in washrooms.

Very little access to being able to charge equipment while tenting. 60% permanent / seasonal residents. Eagle lake shows up as an interesting lake but it is covered in algea with signs everywhere stating it as a dangerous health hazard. Camp office only opens at 2 PM. Restrooms are inundated with hundreds and hundreds of mosquitos

We love this campground It’s close to Calgary and is very nice!! Just needs a dock to fish from!

Camp ground had many permanent residents. Did not find beach access. The lake was full of blue green algae so one could not safely enter and was extremely shallow. Bathrooms were clean and staff was nice. Camping spot had a severe ant infestation so you could not sit outside. Firepits close to other campers so not quiet after hours. Left 2 nights early.
