Whispering Spruce Campground — Reviews

Deceptively large campground nestled in the trees. Disappointed the second set of washrooms were closed. Somewhat dusty and fairly noisy near the highway. Narrow sites enable a lot of rigs to overnight.

Campground is nice. Quiet. But to give a proper review we did not stay there for long. Just a transit night.

When I booked Whispering Spruce back in April for a wedding in July/25, I was a bit skeptical based on some very negative reviews. BUT there was a statement on the website that they were under new management. This was a decider to try. We were very pleased with the facility and staff, especially the cleaning lady with the wonderful daughter. The washrooms and showers were dated but very clean. And the scheduled cleaning took place at the scheduled time. I feared there would be a lot of noise close to the Hwy, but the crows were louder than the traffic. especially in the bottom end of the park. There was a problem with the septic tank for dumping, (someone drove over the holding tank and pushed the cap lid in which plugged the system), but when I talked to the staff they directed me to a vacant spot with sewer at checkout time to use that dump station. The only slight negative (suggestion) is that the new management start redoing the picnic tables, sand and paint to make them more appealing to sit and eat at. Overall, thanks to the staff. it was a great weeklong stay. PS Like any RV park showers, get there early to have hot water!

Place is in poor condition. Not much to do here. They seem to jam as many campers here as possible. Amenities is sub par

Very nice campground Quiet clean friendly

It was a little bit old Fashion, but very clean, fresh Drinks in the Office and little Shop. We had a full Site Place, it was really Good. The Shower had been wirhout Coins, very Good! Thank you, „Whispering Spruce“ for such a wonderful time! Yoho and Banff are not far away!

was ok, bit noisy, wifi impossible to get on very close to road, lots of trucks on engine breaks staff lovely and helpful, laundry service good (little pricey), grand kids play area

The site was OK but it was little noisy because this camping is between highway and train tracks. The Wifi is very bad, unusable. The good thing is it is near several National Parks (Glacier, Yoho, Banff, Kootenay).

They shouldn’t say free wifi when the wifi was very bad

Loved our time there - your mgmt team is great - wonderful experience

It was a full campsite but it’s well secured for one and second there was no noise complaints. Everyone seemed to keep the noise to a minimum
