The positive outweigh the negative for us. It's very quiet, mostly full timers- but they were all friendly. Nestled in the woods, the road in is a bit rough. Convenient to I 26, Irmo, and Columbia. The pond area is very nice. The new bath house was well done! Plenty of washers and driers, at this time around $4 a load total. There is no playground. Some spots are massive, others offer no privacy and are very tight. We'd recommend avoiding 31 at all cost. No room for anything, and the only spot without picnic tables or fire ring. 32 however is huge. The office is non existing and no camp store. Check in is your name and site on a whiteboard with a map affixed to the "office" door. Never met the owners though they appear to live in the log home on site. Never saw any other staff in our 7 day stay beyond a leaf blowing crew that was there a few hours one day. We like quiet so it was nice for us. If you're looking for amenities and comrades this isn't the place for you.

The campground is really nice and quiet. We were lucky enough to meet a long term resident who could help us to navigate to our campsite. We arrived slightly after dark and would not have found our site easily without his help. There was no staff on duty and no phone number to call for assistance. The shower house is great—plenty of hot water!!

Sites were clean, bathrooms were spacious and clean! Owner was very friendly, along with all the campground members who stay there year round! Always a pleasant stay!

I don’t know when they took the pictures of this place on their website. This campground is utterly dreary. There is only a thin strip of grass around the murky, slimy pond. Other than that everything is basically dirt. The dock is all rotted out. Our site was already partially occupied by two tents when we pulled in with our motorhome. What I assumed should have been our promised fire pit was already filled with trash and cans by the tenters. The people in the tent then complained to my husband that WE were infringing on THEIR site.! They were already hooked in to the electric box on our site. Their tent was so much on our site that we wouldn’t have been able to set up our outdoor chairs…. Had we been able to access our fire pit which they were already using. Then they wanted to park their car in front of our motorhome as they had no more room. Then they told us that they didn’t want us to have our porch light on! We complied in turning off our outdoor porch light to keep the peace when they complained that our door was too close to their tent and the light was shining on their tent. . There was no management to be found. We couldn’t find a dumpster. That might explain why an old “honey pot” was adorning the open dirt heap in back of our site. Old rusty trashed appliances dotted the area. Gravel drives and site completely covered with rotting leaves. The play area was one rusty basketball hoop on an old dirty cracked cement slab. Took our dogs for a walk but had to avoid all the dog poop that others had not picked up. The internet was crazy good. Bath/toilet area weird but clean in an outdated sort of way. Not planning on returning any time soon. Way too expensive to stay in such a disaster.

Electrical voltage stable. Bathrooms/showers could be cleaned periodically. Best of availability in Columbia

Q24H availablility was lifesaving access. Facilities could use some love.

It was a fine campground, just a little older and maybe a bit run down looking. But the hookups worked fine. It was a nice area back in the woods. The spots are really close together. The wifi was pretty weak.

Lots of opportunity for improvement. If you’re going to SC capital, this is your only option.

WiFI was very poor, never did meet anyone who worked there-- pretty much a "Hands-Off" operation

Nice quiet place to hangout for a long weekend.

We rented a tent site for one night. When we arrived at the site it turned out that a fallen tree was lying on the site and there was a lot of garbage around. In fireplaces was a lot of trashes. We pitched our tent between two trailers because there was no other place. Another disappointment is the lack of light and hot water in the bathroom. After a whole day of travel we wanted to bathe and could not.

Great location for my Weekend visit for the area. Just wanted a place to park with full hookups.

Very difficult to reach anyone. Poorly maintained laundry facilities. Sites are unlevel and not well maintained. All gravel and ruts. We stayed because of the convenient location.

Absolutely loved it had a blast, will be back in the future.

Down here for work at the nuke plant. Will be back in 3 weeks.
