Terms & Conditions

Yellow Creek Campground Guidelines  (because nobody likes a grumpy camper!)

1️⃣ Reservations

  • 🧓 Must be 18+ — we love kids, but not as campsite bookers. ID may be requested to prove you’re not still in high school.

  • 📋 Keep the reservation name yours — no sneaky name swaps, this isn’t witness protection.

  • 🔄 No trading sites with Cousin Eddie — he can book his own.

  •  🙋 Check in at the office to get your welcome wave (and rules refresher).

  •  ⏰ Campsite: Check-in 1 PM, check-out Noon — late? We’ll bill you and maybe unleash squirrels.

  • 🏡 Cabins: Check-in 3 PM, check-out 11 AM.

  •  👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Visitors pay: $10 / day/ per vehicle, $15/day/ per l vehicle ( if the capacity allows )  — yes, even if they’re just “dropping by.”

  • 🚗 Max 2 cars per site — extra cars park elsewhere. Our trees like their space. The 3rd car is $10 / per night.

2️⃣ Campsite Etiquette

  • 🤫 Quiet time: 11 PM–8 AM — because your senior neighbor really does need their beauty sleep. Keep music, loud chatting, and campfire karaoke down.

  • 🗑️ Trash belongs in the dumpsters — not your neighbor’s fire pit. Keep your site neat! Please clean your tent or RV site before departure. If campground staff are required to clean the site, a $10 cleanup fee per site may apply.

·       Runaway Island is a natural adventure campsite with uneven terrain, exposed roots, rocks, slopes, and slippery surfaces.  Guests use Runaway Island at their own risk. Proper footwear is recommended, especially during wet conditions.

·        Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children at all times .

·        Guests acknowledge the inherent risks associated with natural terrain and outdoor recreation.

  • 🔥 Fires? Sure, but don’t chop our trees or play lumberjack.

  • 🌳 Don’t damage trees, shrubs, or anything green.

  • 🦝 Don’t feed the wildlife — those raccoons are already spoiled enough.

  • 🌊 Don’t dam up the creek — it causes flooding and soggy campers.

  • 🎆 No fireworks — the deer don’t appreciate them.

  • 🚫 No Smoking & vaping in the cabins, unless you want to pay $250 for cleaning.

  • 🔥 Don’t move fire rings — they have a happy home already.

  • 🍳 No dishwashing in the restrooms, please.

  • 🛺 Golf carts are welcome — drivers need to be licensed.

  • 🚲 Bikes on roads only — no off-roading through someone’s garden, Helmets = smart.

  • 🏝️ If you’ve rented the private island, it’s all yours — no unauthorized walkabouts.

3️⃣ Pets

🐕 Keep Fido on a leash and by your side. — even if he swears he’s a “good boy.”

🚫 No pets in restrooms (ew).

Only Woodview cabin allows pet, all the cabins are Non Smoking

🐾 Clean up after your furry friend — nobody likes surprises on their flip-flops.
🐾 Scoop the poop — flip-flops + surprises = unhappy campers.

  • 🐾 Pets in cabins are permitted. Pet fees apply according to current campground rates.

4️⃣ Cancellations & Refunds

  • Same-Day Cold Feet? No worries! If you cancel on the very same day you book, we’ll send your money back faster than you can say “oops!” — 100% refund.

  • More Than 10 Days Away: We’ll keep just $25 as a “planning tax” (okay fine, it’s a cancellation fee). The rest skips happily back into your account.

  • 6–9 Days Before Arrival: That’s a little close for comfort. You’ll get 50% back — the other half we’ll spend on marshmallows and bug spray.

  • 5 Days or Less: At this point, we’ve already fluffed the pillows and rehearsed our welcome smile. No refunds — but hey, think of it as your generous donation to the camping gods.

5️⃣ What Not To Do

We really don’t want to evict anyone, but we will if you:
- 👊 Get violent or aggressive — this is camping, not fight club.
- 🍻 Cause drunken mayhem or chaos.  Get too rowdy (one s’more too many is okay; one beer too many — not).
- 🔒 Steal — even firewood, even twigs.
- 🔊 Disturb the peace — see Quiet Time above.

-📝 Management’s Note:    We want everyone to have a great stay! If you disregard these friendly rules, we may have to ask you to leave — and that’s no fun for anyone.

Happy camping — now go make some s’mores and memories!

I agree to abide by there Rules, Regulation and Policies and Precedures of Yellow Creek Campground.
