Easy check in, very quiet and the cleanest bathhouse.

Clean bathrooms and showers. Cool treehouse cabins. Small but well maintained. Gravel pads a little uneven. All in all a good stop off on trip to Myrtle Beach.

Sites were clean but not clearly labeled for the tent sites and the help number is also only available for weekdays. Otherwise it was a great experience

Very clean, safe, a little gem!! Access to the river was safe and well built!! Thank you to the Wild Life Officers that maintain that portion and the town employees that take care of the park and facilities!! Will be back for a relaxing time!!

The treehouses were really nice, the location was gorgeous. We were there over Easter Sunday and the Women’s bathroom was out of toilet tissue. We bought TP at a nearby Walmart. No staff on site, no answers to calls, no returned calls left us feeling a bit unsupported. An on-site dumpster was too full to allow us to dump trash on the day we left and we had to load up the cans in the common area. Kayak rentals were mentioned but were not available. Other guests who had brought their Kayaks were unable to launch as guests with trailerable boats had launched and tied up at the dock at convenience to themselves and the detriment of the kayakers. Better signage and greater presence from staff might have mitigated this concern.

I liked how small the campground was and peaceful with the exception of the neighbors dog barking after quite time. Bathhouse was nice and clean but a few stalls ran out of tissue with no staff on site to tidy up. No WiFi but if you have hotspot, you will be fine. Disk golf a short walk up from campground. The price is very fair ($25/nightly) for what you get. Our site was #4, pull through with grill and fire pit. Full hook up. I would definitely go back again, thankfully I don’t have children to come along as they would be pretty bored. You just get a nice, peaceful campsite…. Period

Nice place to spend a night in transit to OBX. Relatively inexpensive, with all hookups. Treehouses are interesting. I would do it again as a stopover to the outer banks.
