What a great time at Dixon Landing this weekend! We had a beautiful view of the water and it was very relaxing. We understand that this a new RV resort so they are still developing. We would love if they had gravel or cement pads for the campsites. Keeping up on the dirt with us and our dogs coming in and out was a task but hopefully in the future that will change. Finally, we were so impressed that they came to empty and flush our tanks before leaving. That was so helpful and we didn't expect it! The owners are lovely and we would definitely go back!

Front cap sites to the river are great views though somewhat unable. Nice new private camping. Big supreme, but I would like to see is a filter system on the water. The water had a lot of sediment and smell. Great responsive folks that I dealt with while there. Keep up the improvements.

My wife and I stayed here back in October for the first time. We came back because the people there are so nice and helpful. The campground is very peaceful. They have trees and wildlife all over the campground. They have a nice boat ramp. We are planning to stay there again and again. WE DO LOVE Dixon Landing RV Resort.

The camp hosts are incredible and we enjoy the quiet, undeveloped feel. It is a rare find here in East NC.

Our site was awesome. Had a tough time leveling. Make sure you have boards and/or lots of lego blocks. Views were beautiful. No sewer but they come around i believe every other day and when we departed to dump you if needed. Very quiet campground. Great place to come and just relax/chill.

Dixon Landing is a nice quiet campground. A nice area for fishing and relaxing. They also have a nice big dog run that our dogs liked. Some good restaurants in New Bern not far from the campground. The owners are great people and are definitely doing a lot to make this a great campground. The free pump out service to make up for no sewer hook ups is really nice of them to provide. If you like a nice quiet relaxing campground with not a lot of amenities yet I would suggest you check this campground out. We stayed there three nights and met some really nice campers. I would not hesitate to return here when I travel to this area. FYI Keep an eye on your GPS and call the campground if you get to any road blocks saying local traffic only. My GPS led me to a dead end at a bridge that was being replaced a half mile from where I needed to turn which caused some stress. Making a U turn with a 33 ft fifth wheel on a two lane back road is challenging unless there is a farm driveway to use. All turned out good and we enjoyed our stay at Dixon Landing.
