Pretty setting, clean bathrooms

Very clean and quiet

Very nice park. Campsites we’re spread apart and the wooded setting is always a plus. The facilities were clean and well maintained. Loved the trails and the pond. The camping section could use an upgrade to the playground but our grandkids had a good time there anyway. Planning to return in the future.

Campground was clean, spacious site, leveled site for the camper. The lake loop was pretty and great location next to Rose Hulman. We plan to be back

Wonderful weekend with many RESPECTFUL campers. We have camped her for the last 3 years and have had some unfavorable experiences. Glad to see this hidden gem being “cleaned up”! Good job Vigo county.

Clean and ease of use. Beautiful place.

Love the park. Great camping overall. Very limited hot water in showers made for a cold shower or a cold weekend. Shower experience lacking in general without hooks to hang items and/or bench in stall. Men’s bathhouse didn’t even have doors on shower stalls. Great camping spot if you can skip the showers.

Great angle spot with plenty of room for outdoor area

We enjoyed walking around the lake. The site was spacious. The camp host was friendly and helpful.

Great park. Family really enjoyed this trip. Gate house help was very helpful and informative. Will definitely plan another stay here.

Convenient location friendly clean

The campground was very clean and the sites are generously spaced out. I loved the peace and quiet. There are many walking trails that are easy to navigate and additional spots to stop and just enjoy the tranquility of nature . The lake is beautiful and peaceful. We will absolutely be camping at Hawthorn Park again!
