Riverview campground was clean with good access to beautiful swimming cove a short walk away. Our site neighbors arrived at midnight and were very loud. Late arrivals should be instructed that it is quiet time when they arrive so they do not disturb others. One women’s shower was broken with only cold water. This caused a long wait for many people.

It was more due to other campers being disrespectful and blasting music all night. People walking through your campsite all Night flashing their lights in the tent. Would be nice if people had more respect for All the people around them.

Upon arrival no real direction on where to go so drove around campsite a few times to find our spot. The campsite itself had trash all over the floor unkept by prior people who have stayed I assume. This was also the case for the lake side when we went to the lake, lots of trash and even clothes or just things left by other campers. In one lake area I think it was in the day use area, we had leeches all over our feet and legs so we had to relocate to another part of the lake. Our campsite also was also full of cockroaches at night…all over the floor and then while we slept were climbing on the outside of our tent. I haven’t been to camanche in many years but I don’t remember these things ever being an issue so not sure what changed.

Site 322 is completely bare. No trees, no shade. With temperatures around 104-106 degrees we really needed some shade.

Great spot....camp site 173 was a perfect spot for sunset and fpr family with kids....my family has a blast the short distance walk and also the site view
