The camp was clean and everyone was so nice.

Great location, organized reservations and friendly front gate attendants. Well marked and working services. Campers need to pick up after themselves a bit better. Stop littering

Pros: full hook-ups, close to lake, reasonably priced Cons: small sites that had liter in it, LOTS of ants & cockroach's at night 🤮 Not the nicest campground I’ve been too, but it did the trick in a bind. Having the lake walking distance was the highlight, the full hook ups made dealing with the heatwave manageable.

Monument RV Park is are go to but with the change in management company the annual off season punch card has been eliminated and there seems to be less focus on the upkeep and condition of the park/ sites. The fire pit was full of trash, dumpsters over flowing and caps missing from sewer connections. The 110 outlet at the post did not work.

Everything was good expected the Power went out 2 days in around , but not for a very long time. But overall my husband & I always enjoy or stay there. Marina Lot: 7

I really can't complain about the lake itself or the facilities... I think that they had a good presence of the Rangers and the marina Grill was very nice-- good ice cream! and everybody in the stores were nice and the boat launch on the North Shore was very friendly (we rented a boat too). this place inspired me to want to buy a boat and to go fishing more often. I have three kids and they had a great time swimming in the lake. It was actually very nice and peaceful up here. The only thing I can complain about they have no control over the temperature. It was 110- 114 the entire weekend; The power went out two days in a row, thank you, PG&E. Otherwise, I would definitely go back, and I would recommend it to friends. I scouted out some of the premium sites and I have a new spot that I would like to go for the next time I visit.

The lake is beautiful and the water is clean. The reason I’m giving 3 stars is because when we got there, our 3 reserved camp site was occupied by day users. We had to tell them to move and I don’t really like that and I feel bad since it was 102F, having to relocate your canopy and coolers, etc is no fun in the heat.

The camp site was not prepared. Trash everywhere. Fire pit filled to the top with ash. No direction to the camp site. Extra charges that over doubled the cost, even though all information was provided during booking. We left two days plus early as the rules that I had to attest to were not enforced. Many sites were very loud past the quiet times. Overall a very un enjoyable experience. We will never be coming back along with many others that were waiting to hear how it was as possibly another spot to camp.

The best camping trip ever at Camanche this year with 94 % full of the lake .We can swim from behide our tents all day long .

Everything was great! The staff went above an beyond to make our stay accommodating and welcoming. Thank you Taj, Yvonne and one other beautiful human that helped us at the Marina Store!

The campground is in a beautiful area. The bathrooms are relatively clean for a campground. The showers are luke warm, not hot, but not bad for camping. The reason it doesn't get five stars from me is that the sites are too close to one another and many campers are coming to party. There was lots of music, drinking, and pot. The quiet hours are completely NOT enforced. If you want to go out to the woods to party, then this campground is fine. If you're looking for a family friendly campground in which you can go to bed by 10 or 11 pm, then keep searching.
