Staff is very friendly, camp ground very clean and restrooms and shower are cleaned on a daily basis.

The campsite is small, with just one loop road, and no one is allow to ride bikes entirely around the road. I mean what's the point of camping if you can't allow kids to ride bikes? When we were there, the tackle shop cashier was outside telling everyone to get off the bikes near the bathroom at the end of the loop road, walk 20 feet to the start of the loop, then they can get back on. Stupid. Next, the showers are quarter operated and require 4 quarters for 3 mins. No big deal, we thought since there is a tackle shop at the campsite we can get quarters there, NOPE! They said drive a mile down the road to the restaurant, so we did that, and they argued with us about having to exchange quarters. Why isn't there just a change machine at the campsite?? Finally, no campfires are allowed. Their website made it sound like we couldn't bring our own wood for campfires, which many locations have adopted, so we figured we could buy wood there. NOPE! There's no fire ring, no fire wood for sale, no fires allowed, unless you have a propane fire pit. There are many trails nearby that offer nice views for hiking/mountain biking, but most people were there to fish at the lake. So in conclusion, if you're there to fish, seems like a good spot since you're camping right above the lake, but otherwise, too many rules.

While the campsite/restroom/shower is clean. The wind is just too strong its blowing 30 pmh and around 60 at some point at night. Also There's no designated day trip and camper parking parking is packed.

The campsite was perfect to spend our weekend. So peaceful and clean!! Friendly staffs!

Beautiful location! We stayed in a nice, clean, heated cabin, which was perfect for the chilly weather. The lake is beautiful and there is access to lovely hikes, and Julian is a few minutes away.

Wind was pretty awful. The fog didn’t help with the temperature or the overall weather. The campsites are not well kept nor do they drain well in stormy seasons. Restaurant was fine.

We planned on going camping but the weather was horrible but they were so accommodating to getting us a cabin when they were closed. The lake is beautiful and the cabin was warm and cozy. Can’t wait to go back.

We loved all about it. To improve I would add educational scan code to learn about water conservation and how the public can help to maintain the property for future

Campsite was great. We had spot 19 at Chambers and had no internet. The range is poor, so the network was not even detectable from that spot. Had a bit of work to do and had to park in my car by the office to get it done, so that was inconvenient.

Our Rainbow Rendezvous cabin exceeded all of our exceptions! It was clean, well stocked with supplies. The camp staff was friendly and always happy to help. We will be visiting again! We highly recommend this campground!

The sleeping cabin was great! Very clean and comfortable. Checking in and out was super simple.

Our neighbors were super loud late into the night and I mean super loud bursts out laughter and then they went up to their car and sat in their hatchback trunk right above our tent and were even louder. Then some of them slept in their car which is also not allowed. All of this is supposed to be illegal behavior and the website description gives the impression that there is a "resident ranger" who will stop such behavior and even threatens to eject anyone who does that. But no one was there to do anything. Was a pretty terrible experience.

The spaces were too close together. No privacy at all! Too close to the main road. Not our idea of having fun so we wont be going back. Someone else might like being super close to their neighbor but not us!

Perfect campground for families. Stayed in a cabin which is close to the playground, bathrooms and showers. It is now my favorite campground.

Spaces are very close together...we knew this already but like being close to the lake and walking trails.
