Peaceful place. Table was very sticky and had ants in the bathroom. But was a quiet place to stay on the lake.

Was nice cozy cabin, friendly staff. Cabin however smelled like fire smoke and was hard to breathe.

Off season, it was pretty empty. We loved that. There's a nice trail over to a day use area with a playground that was nice for our little one. Paid shower is available, but I don't know if it was due to the cold weather - never could get any hot water in the restrooms / showers. Beautiful views. Close to Julian, a cute little town we visited one day.

Beautiful spot. The campground was Clean and quiet. The cafe had great breakfast too! Can’t wait to go back!

We loved the tackle shop and camping but the store hours for the convenience shop were terrible. We would have spent $$$ had it been open.

A staff member came out before 9pm and asked to turn my music down when another neighbor was being loud the night before till 11pm; which I complained about and nothing was done to that person. I don’t think that was right not sure if I’d return.

Bathrooms are far from the campsite, although they are clean . The campsite requires carrying camping equipment to the site instead of allowing car on site for easy access. Site does not have water and separated by fences like horse stalls. The lake is pretty and had several tables to use around it.

From the phone call to reserve to the check-in I felt welcomed and that they were happy to see me! The accommodations were great - quiet, clean bathrooms, hot shower, complimentary wi-fi, and a great view of the lake.
