Refund Policy

Refund, Cancellation, and Reservation Modification Policy

By reserving a campsite, cabin, or other rental accommodation with Delta County Parks, guests acknowledge and agree to the following policy:

1. All Sales Final

All reservation payments are final. No refunds or credits will be issued except as expressly stated within this policy.

2. Cancellation Policy

If a cancellation occurs seven (7) days or less prior to the scheduled arrival date, the total amount paid shall be forfeited and is non-refundable.

If a cancellation occurs eight (8) days or more prior to the scheduled arrival date, a refund may be issued minus a $15 cancellation fee per campsite, cabin, or rental unit.

Reservation fees and credit card processing fees are non-refundable.

No refunds or credits shall be issued for no-shows, late arrivals, early departures, unused nights, reduced occupancy, or removal from the park due to violations of Delta County Parks policies or regulations.

3. Reservation Modifications & Rescheduling

Reservation modifications and rescheduling requests are subject to availability and approval by park management.

Reservations may be rescheduled one (1) time per season if requested at least eight (8) days prior to the scheduled arrival date.

No refunds shall be issued for rescheduled reservations. Any approved reschedule will result in reservation credit only, which must be used during the same camping season or the credit shall be forfeited.

Reservation modifications are subject to the same cancellation deadlines and policies. Any modification made within seven (7) days of the scheduled arrival date that shortens a stay, removes nights, reduces occupancy, or lowers the reservation total shall not be eligible for a refund or credit for the removed dates.

4. Weather & Natural Conditions

Refunds or credits will not be issued due to weather conditions, temperature, insects, wildlife, smoke, road conditions, power outages, acts of nature, or other natural or environmental conditions beyond Delta County Parks’ control.

5. Personal Reasons & Emergencies

Personal schedule changes, illness, emergencies, travel delays, family matters, or other personal circumstances do not qualify for refunds or credits.

6. Reservation Transfers

Reservations are non-transferable unless approved by park management. Reservations may never be resold or transferred for profit.

7. Management Discretion

Delta County Parks reserves the right to deny refund, cancellation, rescheduling, or modification requests that conflict with park policies, operational needs, campsite availability, or reservation limitations.

By completing a reservation, guests acknowledge, understand, and accept this Refund, Cancellation, and Reservation Modification Policy.
