DELTA COUNTY PARKS - CAMPGROUND POLICIES AND REGULATIONS (Updated 12/2026)
It is the mission of the Delta County Parks to create and maintain a vibrant system of parks and open spaces that foster community engagement, promote healthy lifestyles, and preserve the natural beauty of our County.
Camping is permitted only in established campgrounds and on designated sites.
Campgrounds are not maintained as places for permanent residence, or as bases for the operation of business.
Any violation of any of these Policies and Regulations may warrant immediate removal from the campground with no refund.
A. DEFINITIONS:
Administration: Delta County
Employee: A Delta County employee performing his/her duties under the direction and authority of the Delta County to administer the parks as owned by the County of Delta, Delta County, Michigan.
Camper: is a person who has registered and paid a fee to temporarily stay for recreation purposes, with or without shelter, within a designated campsite at a Delta County Park.
Seasonal Camping/ Seasonal Site Camper: is a person staying five (5) consecutive months at a Delta County Park.
Extended Stay Camping/Camper: is a person staying thirty (30) days or more but less than five (5) consecutive months at Delta County Park.
Transient Camping/Camper: is a person staying less than one (1) month at a Delta County Park. Also referred to as a Temporary camper.
Tent: is a freestanding, fabric shelter supported by poles and erected on the ground, that is used for shelter and sleeping.
Camping Trailer: is pulled behind a motorized vehicle, that is used for shelter and sleeping; this includes a tent trailer and/or standard travel trailer.
Vehicle Camper: is a motorhome, converted bus, camper bus, and/or pickup camper that is used for shelter and sleeping.
Camping Unit: is a Camping Trailer and/or Vehicle Camper.
Hiker/Biker Camping: is using a shelter and/or place for sleeping, including back-pack tent, hammock, tarp or bivouac, that is carried to the site by backpack or bicycle with no motor vehicle involved.
Vehicle: is a motorized conveyance in or by which people or objects are transported, including, but not limited to, cars, trucks, motorcycles, dirt bikes, mini bikes, golf carts, all types of ATVs and ORVs (including side by sides, four wheelers, and three wheelers), and snowmobiles
Utility Trailer: is pulled by a motor vehicle and is used to carry property or special equipment and is sixteen (16) feet or less in length.
Single Family: consists of the camper and spouse, and his/her father, mother, children or dependents under 18. Maximum number of immediate family members on a site is six (6). Fees apply for extra immediate family members. Call office to inquire.
Age: Must be 18 or older to register on a site.
B. CAMP STRUCTURE:
Vehicle Camper or Camping Trailer: Maximum of one (1) vehicle camper or camping trailer, one (1) tent and two (2) vehicles per site. Maximum number of people is six (6).
Tent Only: Maximum of two (2) tents and two (2) vehicles per site. Camp set-up must be within the physical limits of site size as determined by Administration. Max number of people is six (6).
Hiker/Biker Camping: Maximum of two (2) tents per site. Maximum number of people is six (6).
C. RESERVATIONS:
Seasonal Camping requires an executed Seasonal Ground Lease Agreement with Administration, with one-half (1/2) of the balance due at the signing of the lease; the remainder is due on the “due-date” as established in the lease agreement.
Transient and Extended Stay camping is paid in full at the time of reservation.
The person making the reservation is the responsible party.
For emergency purposes, the person making the reservation must provide the name of each of the individuals staying at each site.
All reservations incur a $5.00/site, non-refundable processing fee.
D. FORM OF PAYMENT:
The following forms of payment are accepted by Administration for payment of the required fee: cash, personal check, cashier’s check, money order or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express).
Reservations paid by credit card incur a non-refundable, credit card processing fee.
E. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
Check-in time is 1:00PM (EST).
Campers who check-in online and have paid in full may proceed to their site. Campers who have not paid if full and/or who have not accepted the Terms and Conditions prior to arrival must check in with the office (or campground host, should the office be closed) before proceeding to their site.
Check-out time is 12:00PM(EST), unless other arrangements have been made with the office.
F. SUBLEASING:
Subleasing a site or cabin is prohibited.
G. CANCELLATIONS OR TERMINATION:
If cancellation occurs seven (7) days or less prior to the scheduled arrival day of stay, the total amount paid is forfeited (otherwise, non-refundable). If cancellation occurs eight (8) days or more to prior to the scheduled arrival day of stay, there is a full refund minus a $15 cancellation fee per site.
Reservation modifications are subject to the same policy. Any modification made within seven (7) days of the scheduled arrival date that results in a shortened stay, reduced number of nights, or lowered reservation total shall not be eligible for a refund or credit for the removed date.
If a guest decides to leave early for any reason during their camping stay or if Administration deem it necessary to terminate the camping stay for any reason, there is no refund.
F. SUPERVISION OF PARKS:
All county-owned parks located in Delta County, are operated and maintained under the direction of the County of Delta.
The Administration, as well as law enforcement agencies operating within Delta County will enforce the Policies and Regulations.
Any complaint made to campground hosts or the office will be directed to Park Manager and they will decide what course of action will be taken.
G. CAMPFIRE & FIRE RING POLICY
Fires are only allowed in designated fire rings. Do not move fire rings or create new fire pits.
Never leave a fire unattended. An adult must be present at all times while a fire is burning.
Fire size must remain manageable. Flames should be kept within the fire ring and controlled at all times.
Burn only approved firewood. No trash, plastics, treated wood, pallets, glass, or metal may be burned.
Disposing of food and cigarette butts in fire rings is prohibited.
Fully extinguish fires before leaving the site or sleeping. Drown the fire with water, stir, and ensure all embers are cold to the touch.
Follow any burn bans or restrictions. Fires may be prohibited during dry or high-risk conditions.
Do not collect firewood from the property unless permission is given by management.
Guests are responsible for any damages caused by fire negligence.
Leaving trash or prohibited materials in the fire ring, or any violation of this policy will result in a $25 fine charge.
H. FIREWOOD:
All firewood brought into any Delta County Park must have a mandatory firewood inspection by either the office or campground host. Illegal firewood (e.g., non-inspected firewood or firewood on the restricted wood species list) shall be removed to prevent the spread of devastating disease and insect infestations.
If it is determined that firewood has not been inspected, the Camper may choose to remove the firewood from the park immediately, or it will be confiscated and disposed of. At that time, a warning will be issued. If the Camper does not comply with the warning in a timely manner, the Camper may be asked to vacate the premises without refund.
Oak, Beech, & Ash are prohibited at Pioneer Trail Park and OB Fuller. The restricted wood species list may be amended depending on the progression/advancement of certain conditions.
The quantity of firewood stacked at any given time is restricted. Contact office for individual specific regulation.
I. CAMPSITE MAINTENANCE:
The Camper agrees to maintain campsite in a clean and neat appearance. Maintaining the campsite in a clean and neat appearance includes, but is not limited to, adherence to all of the requirements set forth in the Policies and Regulations; properly disposing of all trash and cans each day; and properly storing all equipment or appliances when not in use. Whether the campsite is maintained in a clean and neat appearance is a determination to be made by the Park Manager.
If the campsite is not maintained in a clean and neat appearance, a warning will be issued. If the Camper does not comply with the warning in a timely manner, the Camper may be asked to vacate the premises without refund.
All routine maintenance of the campsite will be done by the Administration.
J. GARBAGE:
The Camper is responsible for disposing of any litter and their garbage, properly enclosed in garbage bags, in the dumpsters provided by the park and never in fire-pits. The only dumping allowed is of ordinary household waste generated on site. The dumping of household waste generated or collected elsewhere, and large, bulky items, including but not limited to mattresses and furniture, into the campground dumpsters, is prohibited.
Garbage shall not be permitted to accumulate and should be properly disposed of each day.
Upon departure, all garbage must be bagged up and deposed of in the dumpster upon departure. Any violation will result in a $25 fine.
K. GREY/BLACK WATER AND DUMP STATION:
The camper must use dump station or a tote. There is ABSOLUTELY NO DUMPING OF GREY/BLACK WATER FROM THE CAMPER’S CAMPING UNIT ON SITE OR SURROUNDING AREA. PENALTY WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE EVICTION FROM CAMPGROUND WITH NO REFUND.
Use of the dump station is free for registered campers. Non-registered campers may utilize the dump station for a $10.00 fee (payment is to be made at the office).
L. EQUIPMENT/APPLIANCES:
Only manufactured equipment and/or appliances that were part of the original camping unit when purchased are allowed. Any deviations must be cleared by the Administration. Excessive electrical use caused by original appliances and/or permitted ancillary equipment will result in a daily surcharge.
Air conditioners must be turned off when camping unit is unoccupied.
Patio and bug lights shall be turned off when camping unit is not occupied and when camper retires for the evening.
No generators are allowed in the park with the exception of the rustic camping in the Hemlock Forest camping sites at OB Fuller Park. In this instance, the generator must be campground- approved.
M. PERSONAL SAFETY:
No person shall endanger the safety of any other person by any conduct or permit any assault (physical or verbal), battery or fighting within any of the Delta County Parks.
During all times, fireworks are strictly prohibited (this includes the week 4th of July).
Anyone wishing to use inflatable toys, water slides, etc., must submit a letter of request to the office for approval: If permitted, camper must provide proof of liability insurance listing the Delta County as additionally insured on the policy.
Children, under the age of sixteen (16), must be supervised by an adult guardian while playing on playgrounds and/or swimming within waterbody or waterway accessible by or within any Delta County Park.
It is strictly prohibited to engage in any violent, abusive, loud, boisterous, vulgar, lewd, wanton, obscene or otherwise disorderly conduct; to create a breach of the peace or to annoy or disturb others or to lounge, sit or be upon walks, passages, steps, or porches which obstruct the passage of others.
N. DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY:
Criminal charges shall be sought against any person who willfully and maliciously, wantonly and without cause, destroys, injures or steals property owned by the County of Delta, including but not limited to: buildings, structures, equipment and supplies.
A person found guilty of such crimes will be banned from all Delta County Parks for life.
O. DESTRUCTION OF LANDSCAPE:
Criminal charges shall be sought against any person who willfully and maliciously, wantonly and without cause, cuts down, destroys, or injures any tree, shrub, grass, turf, plants, or soil of the County of Delta, that is standing, growing, or located in any Delta County Park
It is unlawful for any person, individual, organization or corporate group to do any trenching or digging on County property.
A person found guilty of such crimes will be banned from all Delta County Parks for one (1) year.
If harmful plant species are found on a campsite, contact the office for removal of species.
P. SOUND SYSTEMS/NOISE DISTURBANCES:
Quiet hours are from 11:00PM to 7:00AM (EST).
No person shall use a sound amplification device or any other device that creates noise exceeding the sound level at which sound disturbs or annoys any person.
During quiet hours, all sound systems must be turned off. Registered campers are permitted to keep noise to a minimal at their campsite during quiet hours.
If sound amplification devices are used or quiet hours are violated a warning will be issued. If the Camper does not comply with the warning in a timely manner, the Camper may be asked to vacate the premises without refund.
Q. ANIMALS (PETS):
Pets are permitted in the Delta County parks.
Pets must be kept on a leash no longer than six (6) feet in length and under handler’s immediate control at all times. Pets may be taken off-leash when inside the marked Dog Run gated area at Pioneer Trail Park. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Pets are not permitted in restrooms, shower buildings, laundry rooms, sand beach, playground areas or pavilions.
Pet owners shall immediately pick up any feces or bodily waste their pet produces.
Pets are not to be left unattended at any time.
Up to two (2) pets are allowed in the cabins that are designated as pet-friendly with an additional charge of $10 a night.
All Delta County Park visitors with pets are subject to the Delta County Animal Control Ordinances, which include, but are not limited to, the following:
Delta County Animal Control Ordinances, Section 107 NUISANCE: An animal shall be considered a nuisance if it: damages, soils, defiles or defecates on private property, other than the owners, or on public property, unless such waste is immediately removed and properly disposed of by the owner; cause unsanitary, dangerous, or offensive conditions; chases vehicles; or molests, attacks, or interferes with person(s) or other animals on public property. Any nuisance caused by excessive barking, howling, yelping or other noise making may be considered as disturbing the peace and shall be investigated by an animal control officer or any law enforcement agency. The disposition of complaints will be at the discretion of the county and subject to penalty, per ordinance.
Delta County Animal Control Ordinances, Article VI, Section 601: It shall be unlawful for any person to own, possess, shelter, keep, or harbor more than four (4) dogs or four (4) cats over four (4) months of age at any one time, at any one residence or address.
If campers have more than 2 animals per campsite, they must notify the Park office.
R. DOG RUN - DESIGNATED AT PIONEER TRAIL PARK ONLY
The dog run is available to all registered campers and day-use guests. Dogs must be current on vaccinations and display proper tags. The dog run is for dogs only—no other pets or animals permitted.
Owners must remain inside the dog run with their pets at all times. Dogs may never be left unattended in the dog run. Children under twelve (12) must be accompanied by an adult.
Dogs may be off-leash only inside the fenced dog run. Dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the enclosure. All leashes must be in the owner’s possession (not left hanging on fencing or gates).
Dogs must be friendly, non-aggressive, and under voice control. Any dog showing aggression (growling, biting, excessive dominating behavior) must be removed immediately. Excessive barking or disruptive behavior is not permitted. Female dogs in heat are not allowed in the dog run.
Owners must pick up and properly dispose of all dog waste immediately. No food, treats, or glass containers are allowed inside the dog run. Water bowls provided by the park (if applicable) must remain in designated areas.
Sick dogs, injured dogs, or those with parasites should not be brought into the dog run. Owners are responsible for any injuries or damage caused by their dog. The park is not liable for dog interactions, injuries, or lost items.
Do not bring toys that may cause possessive or aggressive behavior. Do not climb, hang on, or place items over the fencing. Gates must remain closed and latched at all times. The dog run may close during maintenance, poor weather, or unsafe conditions.
Failure to comply may result in removal from the dog run or the park, without refund, indefinitely.
S. MOTOR VEHICLES:
All park roads in Pioneer Trail Park and OB Fuller are under the control and rules of the Delta County Road Commission and are subject to all State of Michigan laws and rules.
Any vehicle operated anywhere on the premises is subject to all laws and rules of the State of Michigan, as well as the County of Delta ORV Ordinance.
Campers are subject to all laws and rules of the State of Michigan related to the operation of vehicles, as well as the County of Delta ORV Ordinance.
It shall be unlawful to operate a vehicle unless the vehicle is properly licensed and/or registered.
Drivers must have a valid driver’s license to operate any vehicle. This includes golf karts.
There will be no standing on or horseplay when operating a vehicle within the park.
The use of a vehicle in any Delta County Park shall be restricted to developed and maintained roads; no vehicle shall be used on any other surface.
Use of an ORV is strictly prohibited, unless by a registered Camper.
T. HUNTING AND FIREARMS:
Hunting and/or trapping (any kind) is not permitted on any Delta County Park property, except for the Delta County Forest (see separate policies and regulations).
Target practicing is not permitted on Delta County Park property.
Campers are subject to all local and state regulations for firearms.
The feeding of wildlife is prohibited.
U. DISC GOLF:
Course fee: by donation only.
Disc-golfers must respect at the park.
Disc sets can be rented at the office for $5 with a credit card on file. Campers can rent for free with a 3-hour maximum. Unreturned disc sets will incur a $60 charge.
Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult and must be registered at the office.
The disc-golf course is open from 9:00AM (EST) until dark. (No night play unless authorized by the Park Manager).
Course priority is given to campers of Pioneer Trail Park and OB Fuller.
Maximum group size is twelve (12). Groups exceeding 12 individuals must schedule ahead of time and be authorized by the Park Manager.
League play may be considered by Park Manager under strict sets of rules.
Any league play cannot be for profit.
All tournaments must be authorized by Park Manager. The office will process the player registration, distribution of printed procedures, etc.
No course work (trees, soil, trails, etc. – Michigan Penal Code 750.382). Please let Park Staff/ Office know of any trail maintenance needed.
No littering (NRE Protection Act 324.8905a); items packed in must be packed out.
Alcohol or any drug or paraphernalia including marijuana ingestion or consumption is prohibited on the disc-golf course.
Any items put on the disc-golf course (seats, benches, buckets, etc.) must first be donated to Delta County Parks. These items become the property of Delta County Parks.
The removal of pre-existing garbage is encouraged. Please let Park Manager know of any garbage observed that is unsafe to remove so that management can properly dispose of it.
V. KAYAK/CANOE/ PADDLE BOARD RENTAL: Update pending.
W. PAVILION RENTAL/SPECIAL EVENTS:
Pioneer Trail Park offers two (2) pavilions to rent for private functions. Campers are to be aware of the potential for increased traffic, noise, and activity related to rental of the pavilions and shall respect the privacy of the pavilion renters and their guests. Likewise, pavilion renters and their guests shall be required to respect the privacy of Campers.
Pavilion renters are subject to the terms and conditions as defined in a Pavilion Lease Agreement, as well as all of the terms and conditions in these Policies and Regulations.
Pioneer Trail Park hosts the Halloween Spooktacular event each year for campers registered at both Pioneer Trail Park and OB Fuller Campground. The activities provided at the Halloween Spooktacular event are intended for the Single Family of each Camper, as set forth in the “Definitions” section above. (Additional registration for individuals within the Camper’s party may be required in order to regulate attendance and participation).
Smoking is prohibited within fifty (50) feet of all play areas and buildings, including the pavilions, bathrooms, shower house, office and shop. Cigarette butts, vapes, smoking materials, etc. are not to be left on the grounds of any Delta County Park. They must be fully extinguished and disposed of properly in a designated trash container.
X. PTP CAMPING COMMUNITY GATHERING CIRCLE:
To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and respectful environment for all visitors, the following policies apply to all campground-hosted community fire gatherings:
Community fire gatherings are open to all registered campers and guests. Participation is voluntary, and attendees assume responsibility for their own safety. Fires will only be held at the designated community fire ring/fire area established by campground staff.
Community fires are supervised and may only take place during posted gathering times. Fires must be fully extinguished at the end of the event. Quiet hours must be respected—no excessive noise, loud music, or disruptive behavior. Children, under the age of sixteen (16) must be supervised by an adult guardian while playing on playgrounds and/or swimming within waterbody or waterway accessible by or within any Delta County Park.
Only campground-approved firewood may be burned (no outside firewood unless pre-approved to prevent spread of insects/disease). No burning of trash, plastics, glass, treated wood, cigarette butts, food or prohibited materials. Seating and belongings must remain a safe distance from the fire ring. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. Fire-related accidents or unsafe behavior should be immediately reported to staff. Smoking is prohibited within fifty (50) feet of the Community Gathering Circle.
There is Limited Cooking Use since the community fire is primarily for gathering and ambience. Only simple, low-risk items such as marshmallows, s’mores, or pre-cooked hot dogs may be roasted over the fire. Check with the office on other items. No open food preparation, foil packet meals, raw meat, or full meal preparation allowed at the community fire.
Be respectful of others—this is a shared community space. No fighting, harassment, or disorderly behavior. Alcohol consumption must comply with campground rules; intoxicated or unsafe behavior will result in removal from the event. Pets are welcome if leashed, controlled, and not disruptive.
Gatherings may be altered, postponed, or canceled due to high winds, dry conditions, or fire restrictions. Campground staff reserve the right to extinguish the fire at any time for safety reasons.
Pack in, pack out! Please take all personal items and trash with you. Leave seating areas and the surrounding space clean for the next group. No garbage may be left of any kind.
Failure to follow this policy may result in removal from the gathering, a fine, or termination of camping privileges without refund.
Y. PLAYGROUND/BEACH/SWIMMING AREA:
Delta County and the County Parks and Recreation Commission, employees, volunteers and representatives are not certified as lifeguards.
Lifeguards are not on duty at any time in any of the Delta County Parks.
Swimming is to be performed at swimmer’s own risk.
Children, under the age of sixteen (16) must be supervised by an adult guardian while playing on playgrounds and/or swimming within waterbody or waterway accessible by or within any Delta County Park.
Glass containers are not permitted in the playground or beach area.
Smoking is prohibited within fifty (50) feet of all play areas and buildings, including the pavilions, bathrooms, shower house, office and shop.
Anything brought into public areas such as toys, inflatables, and/or garbage are the responsibility of the guests and must be removed upon leaving the immediate area.
Z. REFUNDS:
Campground No Refund Policy- By reserving a campsite or cabin with us, guests agree to the following:
All payments are final- No refunds will be issued for cancellations, no-shows, late arrivals, early departures, or unused nights.
Weather & natural conditions-We do not offer refunds or credits due to weather, temperature, insects, wildlife, or other natural conditions beyond our control.
Personal reasons & emergencies-Change of plans, personal conflicts, illness, or emergency situations do not qualify for a refund.
Reservations are non-transferable unless approved- Guests may not transfer without management approval. Guest may never resell reservations.
Rescheduling- Reservation dates may be rescheduled once per season if requested at least eight (8) days/hours before arrival, based on availability. No refunds are issued—credit only.
By completing a reservation, guests acknowledge and accept this No Refund Policy.
AA. SIGNS AND FLAGS:
It shall be unlawful for any person to paste, glue, tack, or otherwise post or permanently affix any sign, advertisement, banner or inscription anywhere on county property. For temporary event signs, permission must be attained from the Administration office and must be picked-up and removed when the relevant event ends.
The following flags are allowed to be displayed at campsites: American, Military, POW, MIA and Veterans, sports and decorative flags (e.g. holiday, seasonal, or garden)
Any signs, flags, or displays containing political or promotional content is prohibited.
BB. SOLICITING:
It shall be unlawful for any person or entity to vend, sell, peddle or offer for sale any commodity article within the park, unless such sale is pre-authorized by Administration.
CC. MISCELLANEOUS:
No member of the Delta County Board of Commissioners, County Parks and Recreation Commission; nor volunteers; nor representatives working in any manner on behalf of the County of Delta/Delta County Parks shall move, relocate, or handle personal property of campers. Seasonal campers will receive advanced notice of mowing to ensure personal possessions are repositioned away from cutting zone.
No recreational drug use is allowed.
Any person other than a current employee of the County of Delta entering the employee areas of the office or shop, using Park equipment or riding on/within County and Park vehicles must be a working volunteer. Each working volunteer will have a signed volunteer form stating volunteer time hours, work to be done and conditions of such. Also, conditions of releasing the County of Delta of any and all liabilities and personal injury. This document must be on file in the Park Administration office. All others are prohibited from being in these areas.
Persons camping at any of the parks owned by Delta County will not be allowed to receive mail and or any other type of package delivery service (e.g. UPS or FedEx) to the park’s office. Any mail or package must be delivered to the campsite and is the responsibility of the camper to collect any item from the delivery service directly. All mail or packages received at the Delta County Parks office shall be deemed undeliverable and returned to sender. This is being done to avoid any interpretation of a possible landlord – tenant relationship.
Delta County recognizes and follows all local, State of Michigan and Federal Laws. Individuals using Delta County properties or other properties managed by the County of Delta are likewise expected to follow the law. Individuals using Delta County properties or other properties managed by the County of Delta are expected to comply with all laws related to use, consumption, possession, purchasing, transportation, and processing of controlled substances. This provision applies to substances including but not limited to alcohol and marijuana. See the Michigan Regulation and Taxation of Marijuana Act (MRTMA).
DD. RUSTIC CABIN RESERVATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS:
RESERVATIONS: Are recommended and are accepted Sunday through Saturday from 8:00AM-8:00PM (EST) during the regular camping season (reservations online can happen anytime 24/7).
There is a two (2) night minimum stay.
Check in time is anytime after 1:00PM but before 8:00PM (EST)
Check out time is 12:00PM (NOON) (EST)
If cancellation occurs seven (7) days or less before the scheduled check in date, there is no refund. If cancellation occurs eight (8) days or more before the scheduled check in date, the stay is refunded minus a $15.00 cancellation fee, booking fees, and any applicable credit card fees.
If a guest decides to leave early for any reason during their stay in a rustic cabin or if Administration deems it necessary to terminate the stay for any reason, there is no refund.
EE. RUSTIC CABIN RULES & REGULATIONS:
ALL POLICIES AND REGULATIONS SET FORTH HEREIN APPLY TO INDIVIDUALS RENTING RUSTIC CABINS. In addition, the following rules apply to the rental of rustic cabins:
Maximum occupancy is six (6) people per cabin.
All visitors must check in at office to register and obtain a key.
Renters must be twenty-one (21) years of age. Any occupants under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Major credit card and driver’s licenses are required as I.D. and for any charges that may incur.
A credit card must be placed on file in the event of any incurred damages during your stay. You may also be charged for any Park-owned items that are removed from the site or violations of the Park rules that involves extra cleaning. This card will not be charged otherwise.
Guests must provide their own linens, camping gear, and lighting.
Excessive use of alcohol will not be tolerated. If necessary, law enforcement will be notified and the proper decision made for removal or persons. Refunds will not be issued.
No recreational drug use is allowed.
Generators must be approved by Park Manager.
NO SMOKING of any type is permitted inside cabins. NO EXCEPTIONS.
No burning of candles or insect repellents is permitted inside cabins.
FF. PET-FRIENDLY CABINS
Pets are now allowed in certain designated pet-friendly cabins, which are as follows:
Fuller Park: Chickadee, Turtle, and Black Bear cabins.
Pioneer Trail Park: Nuthatch, Cardinal, and Beaver cabins.
Up to two pets (cats and dogs only) are allowed at the above overnight cabin lodging locations. There is an additional fee of $10 per night per cabin.
Enjoy the outdoors here at Delta County Parks with you pets but please follow these simple rules:
Pets must always be on a 6-foot leash and under an owner’s immediate control when not inside the cabin.
Always clean up after your pet. Please carry a bag with you at all times. All pet waste must be properly disposed of in designated trash receptacle provided at cabin and then placed in dumpster at camp dump station at the end of your stay. Failure to do so will end up in an extra charge to your card on file of $25.
Dogs should not be left unattended (in campers or tied up.) This helps ensure that barking won’t disturb camping neighbors and damage done with a pet in stress.
Keep pets from interacting with wildlife. All wildlife at Delta County Parks is protected.
Pets are not allowed in bathrooms and shower buildings.
Pets are not allowed in any other cabins.
Any violations of any of the campground or cabin polices may warrant immediate removal from the park with no refund and/or a fine if applicable.
