Terms & Conditions
MAKING RESERVATIONS
Thank you for choosing Point of Rocks! Reservations are only completed online. Enter your RV length only, not the tow vehicle. Monthly stays are available December through February only, and weekly rates are not offered. Full payment is required. If no sites are available, try different dates or campsite types.
RV's ONLY
We welcome fully self-contained Class A, B/Vans, C motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, truck campers, and pop-up trailers. Tents, passenger vehicles, standard vans, buses, tiny homes, and cargo trailers are prohibited. "Motorized Only" sites are strictly reserved for motorhomes, vans, and truck campers. Non-compliant reservations are subject to cancellation upon arrival and a one-night cancellation fee. No RV age restrictions apply for stays under 28 days. We have a minimum and maximum requirements for all campsites to ensure maximum occupancy. Please represent your actual RV size. If not, your campsite may change upon arrival.
SAME DAY RESERVATIONS
We offer convenient same-day after-hours reservations. After making your reservation online, pickup our "After Hours" check-in packet located on the board outside the office. Please adhere to the instructions provided in this packet or text only security at (928) 899-4080 to register. Failing to register will result in a late-night interruption by our 24/7 security team and an additional $25.00 fee.
VALUE CAMPSITE POLICY
We are excited to offer Value Campsites with full-service utilities, which are designed for smaller RVs, vans, and truck campers. Sites cannot be locked and may be reassigned within the same category, rate, and amenities. You will receive your campsite assignment upon arrival. Stays are limited to 14 days, followed by a required 14-day break before returning. Upgrading to a standard or premium site bypasses this limit.
BOOKING 2027?
We are currently accepting reservations for 2026. January to March 2027 opens October 1st, 2026, at 7:00 A.M. The remaining months, from April to December, open on January 1st, 2027, at 7:00 A.M. Winter monthly campsites for 2027 are currently open.
BUSINESS HOURS
Office Hours 8 A.M. - 4 P.M., Sunday 9 A.M. - 2 P.M. Closed: Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas and New Years Day. Closed at 1 P.M.: July 4th, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.
KNOW YOUR RIG
Before booking, confirm your RV length, slide-outs, and power needs (30 or 50 AMP). You are responsible for selecting a campsite that meets your requirements. All campsites have size limits, so accurate length is required.
BOOKING FEE
All reservations will be charged a non-refundable booking fee. If booking multiple campsites, the booking fee is applied per campsite.
DISCOUNTS ?
Point of Rocks RV Campground is proud to honor our veterans by offering a 10% military discount on daily reservations up to 6 days. This EXCLUDES Value Campsites and Monthly stays. The discount is not applied during the booking process. To receive this discount, a valid military ID must be presented in-person by visiting the office during business hours. No weekly rates or other discounts offered.
LOCK FEE EXPLAINED
Want a specific campsite? Pay an optional fee to lock in your preferred site number. If unlocked, your site will be assigned upon arrival—pricing, type, and amenities remain unchanged. Value and monthly sites cannot be locked. If you forgot to lock your site during booking, submit a request via our Request Form.
CAMPSITE USE
Please keep outdoor items to a minimum. Camping items only. Screened tents are welcome, but sleeping in tents is not permitted. No appliances, storage containers, firewood, extra propane tanks, skirting, clotheslines, bird feeders, pools, decks, sheds, or tarps outside your RV. Please protect the Granite Dells by leaving trees and rocks undisturbed. Using minimal exterior lighting, and stay off roads and pathways, and avoid walking through occupied campsites. Keep your site tidy. We reserve the right to require removal of unauthorized items.
LONG TERM STAYS
Monthly stays are available December through February only (3-month max) in full-month increments (e.g., 3rd to 3rd). Sites are assigned upon arrival and cannot be locked. Limit 1 RV and 1 vehicle per site. RVs must be under 12 years old, clean, and operational; older rigs require prior office approval with photos. No skirting, decking, ramps, or external propane tanks. Prescott Assessor registration is required within 72 hours or the reservation will be canceled without a refund.
CHECK-IN: 1:00 P.M.
Please pick up your personalized reservation packet from the blackboard outside the office under your last name and head to your campsite. No need to check-in with the office. Your packet contains your campsite assignment, directions, campground information, and other helpful details for your stay. Early arrivals are not permitted and subject to a $20 fee if the site is available. Since there is no entry gate, you may arrive anytime after 1:00 P.M. Procedure for an early check-in request is shown below.
CHECK-OUT: 11:30 A.M.
We require all personal belongings and trash be removed from your campsite to avoid a disposal fee and to help us prepare for incoming guests. There is no need to check out with the office, simply depart by 11:30 A.M. Departures after 11:30 A.M. will incur a $20 late fee. If you are moving to another campsite, you are permitted to move campsites at 11:30 A.M. Procedure for an late check-out request is shown below.
NEED MORE TIME?
Guests may request an Early Check-In (8:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.) or Late Check-Out (until 2:30 P.M.) for a non-refundable $20 fee, subject to site availability. Requests must be submitted in advance using our Request Form. Your campsite must be locked to guarantee the request, otherwise an $18 site lock fee applies. If you are already staying in the park, a site lock is not required.
CANCEL & CHANGE POLICY
WHATS ON YOUR SITE?
Our campsites feature natural dirt and gravel surfaces that blend beautifully with the surrounding Granite Dells landscape. While the campsites do not offer direct views of Watson Lake, guests can enjoy easy access to the lake via our private trail. Each campsite includes full hookups with electric, water, and sewer connections, along with a picnic table for your convenience. Grills are not provided, so please feel free to bring your own propane fire pit, propane grill, or charcoal barbecue. For the safety of our guests and the natural environment, wood fires are not permitted.
DON'T HAVE & NOT ALLOWED
To help preserve the natural beauty of the Granite Dells and ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for all guests, wood fires, smokers, and pellet stoves are not permitted. Please note that we do not offer a dog park, propane filling station, recreation room, cable TV, fire rings, swimming pool, hot tub, cabins, public dump station, or public utility access. All utility services are reserved exclusively for registered guests, which is on your campsite.
FIRES / BARBECUE
Wood fires and pellet smokers are strictly prohibited. Campsites don’t provide fire pits or grills. However, propane fire pits and self-contained charcoal or propane grills are permitted. These must always be supervised. Never bring in or leave behind firewood.
QUIET TIME 10:00 P.M. - 8:00 A.M.
To ensure a peaceful and enjoyable stay for all guests, quiet time is from 10:00 P.M. to 8:00 A.M. During this time, please keep conversations, music, televisions, and other activities at a respectful volume, and minimize exterior lighting that may disturb neighboring campsites. We ask all guests to avoid excessive noise or disruptive behavior at any time during their stay. Guests who fail to comply with campground quiet time may be asked to leave the property, and your reservations may be terminated without refund. Please note that occasional events held at Watson Lake may generate noise beyond the campground's control.
ELECTRICAL USE
If a breaker trips repeatedly, stop using the power and notify the office. For safety and insurance reasons, guests may not diagnose electrical pedestals. We suggest using surge protectors at all campgrounds.
WI-FI & EXPECTATIONS
Our complimentary Wi-Fi is for browsing and email only. No TV's, video streaming devices, gaming, or work use. Bring a hotspot if needed. Excessive use may restrict your device. Wi-Fi is not a guaranteed service and no refunds are offered for reception issues.
NO MAINTENANCE
Washing RVs or vehicles is prohibited. Repair or maintenance to RVs and vehicles is not permitted. Visit our RV Services Page for contact information for local mobile RV techs, wash and other RV services.
GUEST RESTROOM POLICY
Secured restrooms with showers are open 24/7 in both Upper and Lower Park. Access codes are in your guest packet. Please do not flush wipes or other items. We have no set time when restrooms are cleaned per day. Pets are not allowed. Restrooms are cleaned and sanitized daily.
LAUNDRY FACILITY POLICY
Laundry is open daily 8:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.; last load started by 5:00 P.M. Doors lock at 7:00 P.M. Please leave on-time, allowing staff to remain home with family. If security is dispatched, a $25 fee may apply. We provide quarters and supplies in the office. Limit two machines per guest. Stay with your laundry. No rugs or pet items, and no pets allowed in the laundry room.
TEXT MESSAGING
Your payment and reservation authorizes Point of Rocks RV Campground to send you text messages while your reservation is active. We’ll reach out to you in case of campground emergencies, outages, reservation alerts, or policy reminders. Keep in mind that park and city emergency outages can occur unexpectedly or with minimal notice.
PRIVACY
Point of Rocks prioritizes the privacy of all guests. We do not verify guest attendance, location, or reservation details with anyone besides our registered guest after verification. For group bookings, it’s required you contact the group leader or other individuals who made the reservation to confirm their location.
KIDS SUPERVISION
Children under 16 must be supervised off-campsite. Adults must accompany them in facilities such as offices, picnic area, and laundry facilities. If you use the picnic area, please be respectful of others using it. Please clean up after yourself and minimize noise.
FLAG DISPLAY POLICY
We would love for you to proudly display the American Flag, US Military Service or sport team flags. No political or other flags permitted.
DRONE PILOTS
Commercial and recreational drone pilots are strictly prohibited from flying over Point of Rocks RV Campground, which is situated less than 8 miles from an airport. For advertising purposes, the only flights permitted are those conducted by the park owner, who holds a commercial aviation license.
MAIL DELIVERY
As a courtesy we allow mail delivery. Do not file a permanent address change. We accept mail and small packages for registered guests only. Misaddressed items or not using registered guest name will cause the item to be refused. Point of Rocks is not responsible for lost items. Pick up mail or packages promptly.

TRASH DISPOSAL
Please bag all trash, tie, and placed in designated dumpsters. Break down boxes. Large items are prohibited and may incur fees. Leftover items on your campsites are subject to clean-up fees.
FIREWORKS & FIREARMS
Fireworks, firecrackers, streamers, confetti, and similar items are strictly prohibited. Firearms must be securely stored in a case and can only be transported between your RV and vehicle. Firearm use is not permitted within the campground.
NO EV CHARGING - COMING SOON!
Do not charge EVs at our pedestals. They are not designed for continuous EV charging loads and may damage your vehicle or our electrical system, based on guidance from our technician. As we continue upgrading our electrical infrastructure, we hope to welcome EV charging for guests. We are also reviewing the possibility of installing dedicated charging stations. Stay tuned.

PET POLICY
A $3 per pet fee applies (one time charge), with a maximum of two pets. Due to insurance restrictions, certain breeds are restricted; Chow, Doberman, Rottweiler, Dogo Argentino, and Pit Bull types. Management reserves the right to exclude any pet due to breed, illness, aggression, noise, or disruptive behavior. Dogs must be on a non retractable leash no longer than 6 feet and supervised at all times, including within fenced setups, and may never be left unattended outside. Owners must clean up immediately using waste bags. Pets are not permitted in restrooms, laundry facilities, or the office. Pets are a privilege, not a right, and owners assume all risk while releasing the campground from liability. Any aggressive behavior will be reported to Animal Control, result in immediate cancellation without refund, and may lead to a ban from future stays. Service animals are permitted in accordance with the law, while emotional support animals are not recognized as service animals.
PARKING ASSISTANCE
We do not provide parking assistance due to liability reasons. Guests requesting help accept full responsibility for ensuring their RV/trailer fits the site and avoids obstacles. Guests agree to release Point of Rocks RV Campground, its owners, and staff harmless from any loss, damage, or costs, including attorney fees, arising from such assistance.
VIDEO, AUDIO & PHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGES
I grant Point of Rocks RV Campground and its partners the right to use photos, videos, or other visuals of our party, RV, or campsite for promotional or lawful purposes. Any employees appearing in recordings on private property must give consent before public use.
BACKGROUND CHECK
Guests staying 28+ days are subject to a background check. Those with a felony or registered sex offender status are prohibited. If discovered during the stay, the reservation may be revoked without refund and the individual must leave; law enforcement will be involved if necessary.
VIOLENCE & CONDUCT
Harassment, intimidation, mistreatment of guests or visitors, or disrespect toward staff is not tolerated and will result in immediate termination of your reservation without refund. Loud parties, intoxication, and the use of weapons or fireworks on the property are strictly prohibited and will also result in immediate termination of your reservation without refund.
POLICY VIOLATIONS
Point of Rocks RV Campground reserves the right to require any guest or party to vacate the premises if they violate campground rules or engage in behavior that is inappropriate, disruptive, or disturbing to others.
PROPERTY DAMAGE
Guests are financially responsible for any damage to campground property, intentional or accidental, including sites, utilities, landscaping, or facilities. Willful damage or vandalism may result in immediate eviction without refund and legal liability for repair or replacement costs. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe, respectful, and well-kept environment for all guests.
GUEST AGREEMENT & LIABILITY WAIVER
Guests waive, release, and agree not to sue Point of Rocks RV Campground, its owners, or agents for any injury, death, property damage, or other claims related to use of the campground, facilities, or natural hazards such as weather, falling trees, ice, or wildlife. Guests assume full responsibility for their group. The campground may remove any guest listed as a lifetime registered sex offender.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT
My payment and agreement I accepted during the booking process acknowledges that I have read and agree to the Terms & Conditions and Animal Waiver. I am responsible for following all campground rules and ensuring my guests do the same. Failure to comply may result in cancellation and removal without refund. I accept full responsibility for myself and all members of my party, including children, pets and visitors.
