Good communication as reservation date approached. Good WiFi. Great location next to the river and trees. Quiet. Convenient to points of interest

Great access, amenities very clean and the location central to lots of other places not too far away to venture out to and enjoy. Staff is very friendly and helpful if you need it. Great place for dogs and the river had a nice flow. We will definitely go back there!

Beautiful super clean bathrooms. Nice laundry room with room to fold your clothes. Very friendly and helpful staff. Only thing missing was a picnic table. An excellent base camp for hiking Sedona and general sight seeing. Would return in a heartbeat.

Very clean

Amanda was very nice and helpful at check in and later. The restrooms/showers were exceptionally nice! When the electricity went off due to a nearby fallen tree, they kept us informed with text messages. The campsite itself was spacious and the walking trail by the river was pleasant.

This is centrally located in the Verde Valley and convenient to Cottonwood, which has all the stores and restaurants you would want. This is a neat and tidy park. The spacing between campsites is good and they have trees at each site to provide some shade. Mandy at the front desk was very welcoming and mentionned places to eat in Cottonwood. The sites along the river are the furthest from the road and may provide a bit more shade. The dog walk along the Verde River was wonderful. The dogs enjoyed swimming in the river. The campground is just off a busy road with some road noise during the day, but quiets down in the evening. We are not RV park folks, but we would stay here again.

Manager was very helpful. Close to lots of hiking trails, including right from the park. Nice central restroom, laundry and trash. Picked up our propane tank, filled and brought it back. If you have dogs, there are a lot of waste clean up trash cans.

Campgrounds were clean, well maintained and easily accessible. Other campers were quiet and respectful of the rules. Rio Verde RV Park is definitely a "go back"!

All was pretty good. We did not care for the electrical boxes (2) and the very think electrical wire to those boxes going overhead and across the road to a pole there. We were unable to extend our awning the entire way to help block the Sun.

Great location! 15-20 to the high points of the area: Camp Verde, Sedona, Jerome, Montezuma Monument/Well, Tuzigoot, etc. Also convenient to grocery stores, and a couple of restaurants. We loved back-in spot #30 near the river, and because we have dogs it was VERY convenient to the dog area. Bathrooms, laundry also convenient. Only complaint was the road noise from 89.

The campsight I had along with most of our Arizona Airstream Club ladies was just beautiful overlooking the Verde River. They were also quite large. Mandy was super nice and helpful. She set up tables for us to have a Happy Hour behind the office and delivered ice to our Brunch! I love how close it is to cute little downtown Cottonwood.

The park was very nice laid out and maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Reason I did not give a 5 is due to the highway noise. We were in site #1 which is one of the closest to the highway but I am sure many of the other sites experienced the same noise. Sometimes sounded like a super speedway for for the locals.

Mandy was super sweet. We had a great time!
