Santa Cruz Redwoods RV Resort
Campground Rules, Policies & Terms
If you notice any errors in your reservation, please contact us immediately as we are not responsible for any errors after 24 hours of making reservation for any reason.
Private Property & Liability
This property is privately owned. By entering and using the campground, guests accept camping privileges with the understanding that they release Santa Cruz Redwoods RV Resort, its owners, officers, employees, and agents from liability for loss or damage to property, or injury to themselves arising from the use of the campground facilities.
Guests further agree to indemnify and hold harmless Santa Cruz Redwoods RV Resort, its owners, officers, and employees from any claims resulting from loss, damage, injury, or death involving themselves, members of their family, camping party, or guests while using the campground facilities or entering the surrounding wilderness areas.
Site Assignments
While we guarantee your reserved site type and amenities, our reservation optimization system may reassign your specific site prior to arrival. Guests may guarantee their selected site by purchasing the Lock Site option when making their reservation.
Check-In & Check-Out
Check-In: 1:00 PM (Early Check-In fees apply.)
Check-Out: 11:00 AM (Late Check-Out fees will be automatically charged.)
Quiet Hours
Quiet Hours are from 9:30 PM to 8:00 AM.
Please be considerate of your fellow campers, especially if arriving after quiet hours.
Quiet Enjoyment of All Guests
To ensure a peaceful environment for everyone:
No karaoke machines are permitted.
Noise from all sources—including music, televisions, speakers, radios, voices, and conversations—must remain within your campsite at all times.
Management reserves the right to address excessive noise. Guests who fail to comply may be required to leave the resort immediately without refund.
RV & Tent Site Occupancy
RV Sites
Maximum of 6 people per site.
One commercially manufactured, RVIA-certified RV.
One vehicle included.
No tents are allowed on RV sites. Shade canopies only with open sides.
Tent Sites
Maximum of 4 people per site.
One tent.
One vehicle.
Please note that not every tent site accommodates on-site vehicle parking. When applicable, designated parking spaces are identified by the corresponding site number.
Additional overnight vehicles or cargo trailers:
$25 per night
Vehicle pass required
Must park in overflow parking
Utilities
Standard, Super, and Premium RV sites include:
Full hookups (unless otherwise noted)
Complimentary Cable TV
Complimentary Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi and cable television are provided as complimentary amenities and are not guaranteed. Please do not rely on these services for work, school, or other critical internet needs.
Resort Rules
BBQ grills, camp stoves, and portable cooking devices may not be placed on resort picnic tables.
Sleeping tents are not permitted on RV sites. Shade canopies only.
Car or van camping is prohibited.
Charging electric vehicles anywhere in the resort is prohibited.
"For Sale" signs may not be displayed on RVs or vehicles.
No dangerous weapons are permitted anywhere on resort property.
Fireworks of any kind—including sparklers, poppers, snappers, and similar devices—are strictly prohibited.
Violation: $1,000 fine and immediate removal from the resort.
River access is permitted from sunrise to sunset only.
Responsibility for Guests & Visitors
The registered guest is responsible for the conduct, safety, and compliance of all members of their party and any visitors they invite onto the resort property. This includes ensuring that all guests and visitors follow the resort's rules, policies, and quiet hours.
Any violation of resort rules by a member of your party or your visitors will be considered a violation by the registered guest. The registered guest is responsible for any damages, fines, fees, or other charges resulting from the actions of their party or visitors. Management reserves the right to require the removal of any visitor or to terminate the entire reservation without refund for violations of resort policies.
Campfires
Tent campers may have individual campfires within the designated fire area at their campsite.
Guests may:
Rent one of our fire pits, or
Bring their own approved fire pit.
Ground fires are strictly prohibited.
Wildlife & Trash
You are camping in a wilderness environment.
To help protect wildlife and your fellow campers:
Never leave food or garbage outside overnight.
Please use the resort trash and recycling receptacles.
Ash Disposal
We provide complimentary ash disposal.
Simply sign up at the office, and our maintenance team will remove your ashes.
Do not:
Dump ashes in your campsite.
Burn wood directly on the ground.
Place ashes in trash cans, cardboard boxes, paper bags, or plastic bags.
Violations will result in a $500 cleanup fee.
Firewood
Guests are welcome to bring their own firewood or purchase firewood from our store.
All unused firewood must be removed when checking out.
Failure to remove firewood will result in a $50 site cleanup fee.
Payments
Any outstanding reservation balance will automatically be charged to the credit card on file on the morning of arrival.
Guests are responsible for ensuring valid payment information is on file prior to arrival.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 7 or more days before arrival:
$50 cancellation fee per site for any reason
Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival:
Forfeit 50% of the total reservation cost per site for any reason
Cancellations made on the day of arrival:
Responsible for the entire reservation cost per site (for any reason)
No Shows
Responsible for the entire reservation cost per site (for any reason)
No refunds will be issued on or after the day of arrival (for any reason).
Modification Policy
Modifications made 7 or more days before arrival:
$50 modification fee per site (for any reason)
Modifications made within 7 days of arrival:
Loss of 50% of the daily site rate for each day modified, per site (for any reason)
No modifications are permitted:
On the day of arrival
During your reserved stay
Camper Credit Policy
If a camper credit is issued for any reason:
Credits are valid for one (1) year from the date of issuance.
Credits not redeemed within one year automatically expire.
Expired credits have no cash value and will not be extended, reinstated, or transferred.
Guest Agreement
By completing your reservation, checking into the resort, or occupying your campsite, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to abide by these campground rules, policies, and terms. Failure to comply may result in additional fees, cancellation of your reservation, or immediate removal from the resort without refund.
