Very crowded

Nice facilities, great sleeping by a river!

Super location next to the National Park and Deep Creek. The campground manager was very friendly and helpful. The sites are clean (no mud when it rains) and the sound of the rushing creek water is therapeutic.

It would have been a really tight pullout had we not had a double sight. The bathrooms were very small. We loved being on the river and hearing the river sounds.

The campsites are so close our neighbors on one side had to put their picnic table literally next to our camper and when we were sitting at our table inside I could literally reach out and tap them on the head. The other side was so tight we never even extended our awning. Neighbors next to us had 3 full size trucks which gave no room for us to park without parking nearly under the bedroom of their 5th wheel. Had to dodge the edge of it not to whack my head and could not get to our door from the other side since our truck was parked so close to our camper there was no room to squeeze by. We arrived after dark and the lighting was so poor we hardly could tell we were at the entrance of the campground. It was too dark to tell if you could go left or right. The numbers for the campsites were on the power box which was at the rear of the site so could not read from driving by. There was no park map left out after dark arrivals. That would have solved most of the night arrival issues. For such a beautiful river/creek, it was disappointing to be crammed in like that. It is tight outside of Deep Creek which is part of the GSMNP. That’s why we chose this campground but we will stay somewhere else and drive a bit farther next time.

Had a great stay for 3 nights in a wonderful site. Everyone was helpful and there are great places to walk the dogs with the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain Park just steps away from the campground entrance. We will definitely stay there again.

The staff and location are great! I enjoyed floating down the deep creek! I caught a trout too!

Bathrooms were not clean and needed updating. Trash is not picked up over the weekend. The park has nothing that makes us want to return. Very disappointing.

No band, price too hight for what it is. Left a day early and did not credit me. No laundry room.There were about 30 or more spots not occupied. Not customer service. River is nice but that's it. Not worth over $100 a night.

Scott, the host, was the first person we met in the campground. His smile can light up the room. Kind, helpful and takes excellent care of the campground. Clean, efficient, beautiful setting.

Small campground with amazing creekside view. Staff was helpful and friendly. Location to everything was perfect.

Looks run down, doesn't appear it is being kept up. Trash cans were always full. The covered pavilion with the outdoor sink was covered in leaves and the sinks were black with dirt and full of leaves. Discarded filthy grills. The bathrooms are filthy are full of spiders, and other bugs. The sinks have dead bugs and dirt in them. The sites themselves are very close together. And there is a black lab, friendly enough but just walks in to your site, wandering around.

The staff was very friendly and the campground was clean. The only negative thing was that the sites were so close together that we felt boxed in next to the camper beside us. We felt closed in, especially when the vehicles were all parked beside the lots. But if you’re there to tube the river, it’s a perfect campground, for sure!

Absolutely love this place! So much to do and the scenery is beautiful. The Friday and Saturday activities are great too!
