Squatch Pines Family Campground - Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Squatch Pines Family Campground! By booking a stay or entering the property located at 4215 S. Gladwin Rd, Prudenville, MI, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
General Rules
All guests must check in upon arrival. Unregistered visitors are not allowed.
Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be respectful of your neighbors.
Campfires are allowed in designated fire rings only. Do not leave fires unattended.
Firewood is available for purchase onsite. Outside firewood is discouraged to prevent invasive pests.
Trash must be disposed of in the designated dumpster area. Please keep your site clean. Do not leave any garbage in fire rings (A cleaning fee may be added for any excessive garbage left on site).
Smoking is permitted at your site only. Please dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.
Alcohol is permitted in moderation and at your own site. No public intoxication or rowdy behavior.
Illegal substances and firearms are strictly prohibited.
Reservations & Payments
A valid credit card is required to book a reservation.
Full payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged.
Rates are subject to change and may vary by season, site type, and holiday weekends.

Check-in: 2:00 PM
Check-out: 11:00 AM
Late check-out may be available upon request, fees may apply.
Campers & Site Requirements
One RV and max of two vehicles per site. Extra vehicles must be registered and may incur additional fees.
Campsites must be kept neat and orderly. No outside storage or clutter is permitted.
All RVs must be in good working condition and self-contained (full hookups are provided).
Sewer hoses must be properly connected and sealed.
Pets
Friendly, non-aggressive pets are welcome!
Pets must be kept on a leash at all times (A pet cleaning fee may be added to reservation if pets are not picked up after).
You must clean up after your pets.
Excessive barking or aggressive behavior may result in removal from the campground.
Pet fee may apply—please refer to your booking details.
Swimming Pool Rules (When Open)
No lifeguard on duty—swim at your own risk.
Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
No glass containers in pool area.
Proper swimwear required.
Toddlers must wear swim diapers (No regular diapers allowed).
Monthly & Seasonal Stays – Electric Usage
Monthly and Seasonal sites rates do not include electric. All sites are individually metered, and guests are responsible for their electric usage.
Electric will be billed based on metered usage at the current utility rate.
Electric usage will be automatically billed to the card on file monthly and/or upon departure.
Day Guest Policy
We love when our campers invite friends and family to enjoy Squatch Pines. To keep things running smoothly and maintain a safe, comfortable environment for everyone, please follow our day-guest guidelines.
Day Guest Fee
• Day guests are $5 per person, per day.
• Children 4 and under are free.
Check-In Required
• All guests must check in at the office before entering the campground.
• The registered camper is responsible for making sure their guests follow all campground rules.
• Guests will receive a visitor pass that must be displayed during their stay.
Hours
• Day guests may visit from 9am to 10pm.
• Overnight stays must be arranged ahead of time and may incur additional fees.
Parking
• All guest vehicles must park in designated visitor parking unless otherwise directed by campground staff.
• No parking on empty campsites or roadways.
Overflow Parking (Trailers, Boats & Additional Vehicles)
Overflow parking is available in a designated area for trailers, boats, and additional vehicles.
Availability is limited and must be reserved in advance. All overflow parking must be registered at the office.
Rates:
$10 per day
$50 per week
$100 per month
$200 per season (seasonal guests only)
Guidelines: Due to limited space, overflow parking is offered on a first-come, first-served basis and may be restricted.
Priority may be given to seasonal guests.
Only approved and registered units are permitted in the overflow parking area.
Items may not be stored on campsites unless approved by management.
Management reserves the right to limit the number of overflow units per site.
Unregistered or unauthorized items may be subject to removal at the owner’s expense.
ORV Policy
ORVs are welcome at Squatch Pines Family Campground. Most campsites can accommodate one ORV, provided it fits entirely within the site and remains on approved parking surfaces. Parking on grass, vacant sites, roadways, or common areas is prohibited.
ORV trailers, boats, utility trailers, and additional recreational equipment require the purchase of an Overflow Parking add-on and must be parked in designated overflow parking areas. Space is limited and advance reservation is recommended.
Recreational riding within the campground is prohibited. ORVs may only be operated when entering or exiting the campground and must observe the campground speed limit of 5 MPH.
Squatch Pines Family Campground is located on an M-road. Guests are responsible for complying with all applicable Michigan ORV laws, regulations, and licensing requirements. Guests assume all risks associated with ORV operation and storage. The campground is not responsible for loss, theft, damage, accidents, or injuries involving ORVs, trailers, vehicles, or personal property.
Use of Amenities
• Day guests may enjoy all common-area amenities such as the pool (when open), pickleball courts, and community areas.
• Amenities may close or have capacity limits during busy times.
General Rules
• All guests must follow campground rules, including quiet hours and pool safety guidelines.
• Squatch Pines reserves the right to limit or deny guest access during peak weekends or special events.
Responsibility
• Registered campers are fully responsible for the behavior and actions of their guests.
• Any damage or rule violations caused by a guest may result in fees or removal from the property.
Seasonal Site Agreement
• Keep your site clean and maintained.
• Seasonal Guests are responsible for maintaining the grass within their assigned campsite, including mowing and general upkeep. Grass must be kept at a reasonable height and free of excessive weeds, debris, and pet waste.
• If a site is not properly maintained, campground management reserves the right to perform necessary maintenance. A service fee of $40 per occurrence will be charged to the Seasonal Guest account.
• Guests who are unable to maintain their site must make prior arrangements with campground management to avoid service fees.
• Repeated failure to maintain the site may result in additional action, including termination of the seasonal agreement without refund.
• No decks, sheds, or permanent structures without written approval.
The Seasonal Guest is responsible for ensuring that all occupants comply with all Squatch Pines Family Campground rules, policies, and Terms & Conditions.
The Seasonal Guest assumes full responsibility for the conduct of all occupants associated with their site.
Any violation of campground rules or Terms & Conditions by a guest, occupant, will be considered a violation by the Seasonal Guest and may result in enforcement actions, including fees, removal from the property, or termination of the Seasonal Agreement without refund.
Liability Waiver
Guests agree to use the campground and its amenities at their own risk. Squatch Pines Family Campground, its owners, and staff are not responsible for accidents, injuries, lost or stolen property, or damage due to weather or nature.
Golf Cart Policy
Golf carts are welcome at Squatch Pines Family Campground, but must be operated safely and responsibly at all times. Drivers must be at least 16 years old and possess a valid driver’s license. Golf carts must remain on designated roads and may not be driven through campsites, common grassy areas, or pedestrian spaces. The campground speed limit of 5 MPH applies to all golf carts. Headlights must be used after dark.
Reckless driving, excessive noise, riding with passengers in an unsafe manner, or allowing underage/unlicensed drivers to operate a golf cart is strictly prohibited. Guests are responsible for any damage or injury caused by their golf cart or its operation. Squatch Pines Family Campground reserves the right to revoke golf cart privileges at any time for unsafe behavior or rule violations.
Violations
Squatch Pines reserves the right to remove any guest, without refund, who violates these terms, creates a disturbance, or poses a safety risk to others.
By making a reservation or entering Squatch Pines Family Campground, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping Squatch Pines a safe, fun, and relaxing place for all!
