Starved Rock Family Campground — Reviews

Well kept & friendly campground. Will gi back the next chance we get.

I understand that the office was closed due to winter season. We were given a a lot # in advance .. Lot A11 .. No where in that campground was A11 . Made several calls and no one called back. All restrooms were closed. Not worth thye money at all ..

The campsite was clean and had no issues

Awesome camp site! We will go back again and again, no doubt! The staff is super welcoming. The site itself is very nice.

Everyone was super nice. The campsite was really clean.

I only stayed one night passing through but the office staff was friendly and I had a nice level, concrete, pull-through site. Would stay again.

We were quite concerned about the bathrooms from reviews we saw. However, we used the ones in the camp store which had 24 hour access via exterior doors. They were clean and recently updated. Everything seemed nicely maintained. Sites were typically small for private campgrounds though our area did have numerous trees.

Interstate noise

We have stayed several times and have had good sites that are level. The staff is kind and the facilities are clean. The location is great too.

The campgrounds were VERY clean, the shower houses were clean and well maintained. The dog park was a nice spot to let the dogs off the leash to run for a bit. The general store was cute, had a lot to offer including indoor games for all ages. The outdoor playground also looked well maintained.

Really nice campground. Clean and close to everything in the area.

Nice facilities. The restrooms and showers can be pretty far away, depending on your site location.

This campground was very clean, people were friendly and there was a lot to do. It is also very dog friendly, which is great!!

The internet w a little difficult to get.

We loved our stay we had a very relaxing weekend , bathrooms and showers are clean and the staff was friendly we will be returning for sure !
