Refund Policy
At Stillwaters Creek Campground & Cabins, we strive to provide a high-quality outdoor hospitality experience for all guests. Due to the nature of campground and cabin reservations, the following refund policy applies to all stays, reservations, fees, and services.
By making a reservation or entering the property, guests acknowledge and agree to the following refund terms.
GENERAL REFUND POLICY
Refund eligibility is determined based on the campground’s Cancellation Policy and Guest Terms & Conditions.
Approved refunds will be issued only to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
Processing fees are non-refundable.
Refund processing times may vary depending on the guest’s financial institution but are generally completed within 5–10 business days after approval.
NON-REFUNDABLE CIRCUMSTANCES
Refunds, credits, or prorated adjustments will not be issued for:
Early departures
Late arrivals
No-shows
Voluntary changes in travel plans
Inclement weather
Rain, storms, flooding, wind, or other natural events
Wildlife encounters
Outdoor environmental conditions
Utility interruptions
Wi-Fi or internet outages
Temporary maintenance issues
Road conditions
Smoke, insects, mud, uneven terrain, or other natural campground conditions
Camping and outdoor recreation involve inherent risks and naturally occurring environmental conditions. Guests acknowledge and accept these conditions as part of the outdoor experience.
RULE VIOLATIONS & GUEST REMOVAL
Guests removed from the property for violations of campground rules or Guest Terms & Conditions are not eligible for refunds.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Disorderly conduct
Illegal activity
Excessive intoxication
Unsafe behavior
Unauthorized occupancy
Property damage
Sewer violations
Prohibited chemical use
Excessive noise complaints
Aggressive pets or repeated nuisance barking
DAMAGES, CLEANING & ADDITIONAL CHARGES
Management reserves the right to charge the payment method on file for:
Property damage
Excessive cleaning
Smoking or vaping inside cabins or buildings
Pet-related damage
Sewer system damage
Missing items
Unauthorized guests
Rule violations
Chargebacks or disputed charges related to valid reservations
Guests may also be financially responsible for fines, cleanup costs, repairs, or damages resulting from misuse of campground facilities or violations of sewer and wastewater policies.
FORCE MAJEURE & OPERATIONAL CONDITIONS
Management reserves the right to close portions of the property, restrict access, modify amenities, or cancel reservations due to:
Severe weather
Flooding
Utility failures
Government orders
Public safety concerns
Emergencies
Circumstances beyond management control
In such situations, management may, at its sole discretion, issue partial refunds, future stay credits, or reservation transfers, but is not obligated to reimburse guests for travel expenses, fuel, lodging elsewhere, lost vacation time, or incidental costs.
PAYMENT DISPUTES & CHARGEBACKS
Guests agree to contact campground management directly regarding billing concerns before initiating chargebacks or payment disputes.
Fraudulent or improper chargebacks relating to valid reservations, campground fees, damages, or policy violations may result in additional collection efforts and recovery of associated administrative costs.
