We just wrapped up a wonderful two-night stay at Summersville Lake Campground, and we can't recommend it enough! We splurged on a premium spot, and the view was absolutely wonderful, offering breathtaking scenery that made our mornings and evenings truly special. From the moment we arrived, the owners were extremely nice and helpful, making us feel right at home. The facilities are great, clean, well-maintained, and everything you need for a comfortable camping experience. One of the highlights of our trip was renting a pontoon boat from the campground for a day on Summersville Lake. It was fantastic! The rental process was seamless, and the owners were extremely helpful every step of the way, ensuring we had everything we needed for a fun and safe day on the water. We're already planning our return trip! Summersville Lake Campground offers the perfect blend of natural beauty, excellent amenities, and top-notch service. Whether you're looking to relax by the lake or enjoy some water activities, this campground is an absolute gem.

Beautiful campground!

Extremely friendly staff from arrival to departure. Sites were roomy, but not overly "country style" camping, if that is what you're used to. Prompt to respond to a request immediately (grease spilled from previous camper that would've been tracked into our camper by our children) and staff came immediately to remedy. Weren't annoyed or anything. One very important area to mention is how clean the usable water is. We stayed 4 days total and would certainly return again. The playground was great for the kids, and everyone was so kind and courteous. Even the other campers around us truly were wonderful. The only downfall here is no dump station unless you get one of the pull through sites, then sewage is available. Overall would definitely stay again if in the area!

We just stayed over night on our way home to PA., but the place is very nice with everything well laid out.

The camp ground is in beautiful setting with well-maintained grounds and facilities including a picturesque light house. They have boat rentals and property has easy access to lake. My wife and I always stop when in area.

Everything was lovely except lots of bees in the grass by our site. Being allergic made me very anxious. Other than that, it was great.
