Terms & Conditions

-Check in is at 2:00 PM.  Check out is at 12:00 PM.  If you are checking in after 5 PM, please let the office know so that we may give you directions to your site.

-Sites 5-11 are back in sites. Site Number 12 can be either back in or pull through with a buddy RV for additional charges if needed. 

-There are no refunds for early departures due to Mother Nature.  There are no refunds given because of bad weather. There or no refunds  

-In case of emergency, campers will be contacted at the phone number left at sign in.  If campers are in harms way due to impending storms, campers will be asked to go to an indoor safe zone.  All of our restrooms and bathhouses were designed to be safety zones in case of an emergency.  Campers with an emergency are encouraged to dial 911. By signing the terms and conditons for your reservation or by entering through the front gate, remaining on the premises, parking, setting up, connecting utilities, or staying overnight, the guest expressly agrees to accept all campground Rules & Regulations, Policies, and Release of Liability terms in full, whether physically signed or not. Occupancy of a site constitutes legal acceptance of these terms. You are acknowledging and agreeing to hold harmless the Shores of Asbury from any and all claims, actions, suits, proceedings, costs, expenses, fees, damages, or liabilities. Including, but not limited to, resonable attorneys's fees and costs, arising by reason of injury, damage, or death or property, in connecrion with or resulting from the use of any activity, or any use  in the park on land, in any building, on water, or in the water, or on any area of the park known as The Shores of Asbury located on Asbury Park Road, Anderson SC 29625. The Shores of Asbury cannot under any circimstances be held liable for injuries as a result of inappropriate use, accidents,act of God, nature, negelance, or any other condition beyound the park, the park owners control or knowledge. Customer or guest or guest of customer also agrees to idemnify and hold harmless The Shores of Asbury from any loss, damage, theft, or destruction of you or your guest while here or any of your personal properties while in the park during your rental period or any extension thereof.  Entry onto this property constitutes legal acceptance of all Policies and all Terms and Conditions. 

-Cancellations are subject to charges based on the notice given.  Reservations may be cancelled up to 14 days prior to arrival.  25% of deposit including tax will be forfeited.  If less than 14 days prior to scheduled arrival, then 100% of deposit will be forfeited.  If cancelling the day of your reservation one night site fee or 100% of your deposit will be forfeited, whichever is greater. If cancelling  on any major holiday or Clemson home game date. Do not expect any refunds. No FULL refunds are offered.

-Prohibited: No inappropriate language either verbal or written. No apparal with foul language, gestures, or inappropriate language will be allowed worn in the park.  Light pollution from your camp area.   No fireworks except for those commissioned by the park.  Do not walk thru others camp sites.  No clothes lines.  No political signs or flags.  No hot grills on picnic tables.  No nails in trees.  No permanent structures.  No liquid waste on ground or in dumpsters.  Please be mindful of others. We are all here to have a great time. 

-Parents/guardians are responsible for appropriate behavior for their children.  Children must be supervised in bathhouse, restrooms, and the arcade.  Parent/guardian will be held financially liable for damages caused by their children.

-Visitors must register at office before entering resort.  Visitors must leave by 10:00 PM.  Visitors may be restricted during periods of higher occupancy.  Registered campers are responsible for their visitors and we'll be held financially responsible for any damage to the property.  Make your guests aware of the community rules. 

-Pets must be current on vaccines.  Pets must always be kept on no longer than a 6 foot leash.  Pets should not be left outside when their owners are away from their site.   Always clean up after your pet and properly dispose of pet waste in proper receptacle.  Pets are not allowed in buildings unless they are a service animal.  Barking or any aggressive behavior will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave without a refund. 

-Campground speed limit is 8 mph throughout the park.

-Quiet hours are between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.  No amplified music or loud noise of any type. Your neighbors should not hear it. 

-Possession of firearms is prohibited.  Exceptions include certified Park Rangers and other personnel.  Firearms, BB guns, airsoft, and pellet guns are not allowed.

-No public displays of alcohol.

-Absolutely NO spikes, stakes, or anything else driven into the ground at established sites.  (Water, sewer, electric are underground) you will be responsible for any damage/repairs. 

-Drones are not permitted anywhere on the property for safety reasons. Exceptions for drones are commissioned by the park for advertising purposes. 

-One RV and two vehicles are allowed per site.  Vehicles must fit on site pad.  If your vehicle does not fit on your site it must be parked in the visitor parking area.  No vehicles will be allowed  to park on grass or on the road. Trailers to carry golf carts ect must be locked and stored on gravel parking overflow area. Please start parking at one end so the next person can get close so that others can have a spot to park ; especially during summer and fishing tournaments. 

-RV's and vehicles must be kept in good working condition with no leaks of any kind.  RV's, boats, vehicles, etc. cannot be repaired or cleaned on sites. A fine will be added to your credit card on file if seen doing so.   Emergency situations must be addressed at the office. Please use jack pads on sites (rubber, plastic, or wood).

-Six occupants are allowed per tent site.  Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid ID and present with the camping equipment at the time of check-in.  Only 10 people allowed per RV site including guests and all occupants. Any site registering over four occupants will incur an additional nightly charge of $5.00 per child and $10.00 per adult. If your rig has more than two air conditioning units, you will be charged an additional $13 per unit.

-Though we will try to accommodate, site reservations are not guaranteed to actual location.

-Electric golf carts and bicycles are allowed but must be driven in a safe manner and obey park rules.  golf carts must be compliant with local laws and be driven by a licensed driver.  Any vehicle driven at night must have lights. ATV's will be allowed to be driven in the park by adults with drivers license only.  Noisy vehicles are not allowed.  Use on paved roadways only. Do not drive on grass. Driving multiple times around in the park after quite time, 10:00 pm will not be tolerated. 

-Trash should be taken to the designated dumpster/recycle area or stack and tie garbage and place at the curb or front of your site for courtesy pick up by 11:30 AM. If you have trash after this time, please tie it up and take it to the dumpster located down past the bathhouse.  Do not leave trash out at night, it invites unwanted skunks and racoons to your site, and could possibly invite a bear.  Please remember, If management must clean your site there will be an extra charge. This includes your firepit. Do not leave it full of unburnt boxes, cans, ect ect. Do not BURN trash in your firepit. Do not leave debris in your fire pit. IF there is cigar or cigerette buts left all over your site a $25.00 extra fee will be added to your charges. Use furniture meant for outdoor use only.  Please leave your site clean and free of all trash no matter how big or small the trash is. If it's not natural pick it up and dispose of it properly. 

 

-Campfires are only allowed in designated fire pits/rings.  Fires should not be left unattended.  Burn only wood.  Do not burn glass, paper or   garbage of any kind.  These should be campfires, not bonfires unless the park commissions during special events and holidays.

-No glass containers are allowed in campground or beaches.

-If you have an accident/incident, it should be reported within 24 hours.

-No sales or solicitation allowed without prior approval from the office.

-The Shores of Asbury and its employees, representatives and agents will not be responsible for loss due to theft, accidents, fire, Mother Nature, or any other loss whether it may be injury or loss of property.  The Shores of Asbury reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and to evict without prior notice, anyone who creates a disturbance or deliberately breaks any of the resorts policies.  If The Shores of Asbury has to evict, there will be no reimbursement of any camping fees.

By signing below, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

I understand that participation in activities and presence on the property known as The Shores of Asbury involves inherent risks, dangers, and hazards that may result in injury, illness, death, or property damage.

In considersation for being permitted to enter, visit, or participate in any activities at The Shores of Asbury, I voluntarily agree to release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless The Shores of Asbury, its owners, members, managers, employees, agents, contractors, affiliates, successors, and heirs ("Released Parties") from any and all liability.

1.  SCOPE OF ACTIVITIES COVERED-ALL

This waiver applies to ALL activities, including but not limited to:

-Boating and watercraft activities

-Swimming and water-related activites

-Aqua Zone/floating water park use

-Use of docks, piers, and waterfront areas

-Beach, sand areas, and island access

-Kayaks, canoes, and other water equipment

-Golf carts and ATV usage

-Walking, hiking, or moving about the property

-Concerts, live music events, and gatherings

-Fireworks displays

-Campfires and recreational fires

-Any recreational, leisure, or entertainment activity

2.  ASSUMPTION OF RISK

i knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks.

3.  RESPONSIBILITY FOR OTHERS

Each individual must sign their won waiver or you accept full responsibility

4.  PROPERTY AND PERSONAL BELONGINGS

The Released Parties are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property

5.  RULE ENFORCEMENT

Failure to follow rules may result in removal from the property.

6.  FULL RELEASE

I fully release the Released Parties from any and all liability

7.  ACKNOWLEDGMENT

-Campers need to have RV insurance and all RVs/campers should be 2008 and newer.  If you have a model built prior to 2008, please make sure you send pictures with a special request to stay. Send request and pictures to: theshoresofasbury@gmail.com
