This campground appears to be undergoing possible ownership changes. It’s a remnant of a once-thriving park. Unfortunately, we arrived at 3:30 pm and found no one at the office. A peculiar permanent resident approached us, and showed us to the spot. Then another couple in a car said we were at the wrong site and thought we were arriving in the evening. They did not identify themselves as ownership. I stated the site we picked was booked and it was the one we were on. THIS WAS NOT A pull through, but was listed as such. With our large rig, it was clearly not feasible. One of the sites had four picnic tables, and we don’t like to take things from others. The campground also had an unusual grouping of permanent residents living in broken-down RVs with makeshift plumbing. This made me uncomfortable letting my child roam freely. On the positive side, the dog park was spacious and well-maintained. The lake was gorgeous. Grounds need some cleaning up. It was one night and the rate we got was cheap. I guess I should not complain but it was an odd stay.
