Their was an odor of animal decomposition near our campsite #46 the entire time we were there. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.

The location is great and close to a gorgeous beach. The bathrooms aren’t great and the site we had was directly across from the bathroom which meant it felt like a spotlight was shining into our tent all night.

Cabin could have used a little table and chair for inside sitting area. Luckily we brought a foldable table for eating or sitting inside early morning and at night. With site should have bathroom and shower like west and east sites. Also no service in south end .

Staff was friendly. Sites were clean. Bathhouse was clean. Walking distance to the beach but seemed nice and secluded and quiet. Other campers were also friendly.

The campsite we reserved (#11) was not close to a water hookup. But when we checked in at arrival, we were told that since the campsites near us were not reserved, we could choose any of the sites near ours. We set up on site #12, which was closer to the water hookup. However, the next day, we were told we had to move to site #11 because the other sites would all be filled over the weekend. Apparently, whoever told us we could set up in any of the sites was mistaken. We moved to #11, which was inconvenient. We stayed through the weekend, but nobody ever came to site 12 or site 13. Kind of irritating. Also, the restrooms were being “emptied” on Monday morning as we were breaking camp. The smell was absolutely horrible, and it made those last hours in the campground very unpleasant!
