West Coast Campground — Reviews

Okay place if you need a place to park your RV. Or tent. Basically a gravel parking lot with logs moved around to designate parking spots for RV's and/or tents. Somewhat centrally located at the main intersection.

The campground was like a parking lot for RV's, the toilets were a mess especially at the end of the day, WiFi very unreliable and considering the price one would have expected a little better.

No Service at all. It is in no way a Campground. It is an expensive parking ground.

We enjoyed our stay here! The workers at UkeePoke were wonderful help, and they were so positive! I want to highlight how kind their employees are. They have a great sense of humour. I felt so free walking around! Communal areas like the washroom and the showers were nice as well. Their washroom is kept clean, and their shower water is hot. The campground is in the perfect spot as well!

Congusted and no table/chair or vehiche access to the site and way expensive for one night.

Amazing place and your food is very delicious. I think tha only problem is noice other waise every thing is perfect. Your cat is so friendly.

Camp spot was amazing, showers were roomy and plenty of water. It was a great surprise to have the WCS sop open with food and beverages.

The staff was pretty disorganized, and did not do a good job explaining bear safety to campers. We live in a city with a lot of bears so did well, but no one said anything to us about packing away food, keeping our site tidy, etc. unfortunately some other guests did not have that knowledge, left food out day and night, and a bear tore through a few tents because of it. Very reckless to not be diligent about this with tourists, as it puts both people and the bear in danger. Pretty disappointing - remember if you are camping in B.C., a fed bear = a dead bear :(

Absolutely a hidden gem. I seriously regret not realizing this was here before. Amazing price for the value. Has such welcoming & friendly staff, great camping spots, chill vibes & a wonderful gathering space. 1000% will be recommending to everyone I know. Thanks for making my stay epic!

Just finished our 3 nights long weekend camping at west coast Campground. Amazing experience. The facilities are absolutely fantastic. Hot shower/toilets/drinking water/kitchen area / guest patio all are well maintained. Although we had bear sighting and there has been reports of bear attacking tent for un-wanted food leftovers or anything else. We were given proper safety precautions instructions by Joel on time and bear traps were put in place. FYI don’t miss the Poke Bowl on site. They are finger licking gooood…

It’s a cute spot, food was fantastic but… there are only three toilets for the whole campground and in the morning the lineups were 7 people deep!! With toilet paper missing in one. Not enough facilities for the number of campers.

The campsite was great, but the campground is not super well maintained, there is some waste a bit everywhere on the ground. The shower was hot but still not super clean as well and same for the sink spot. A cleaner space would make the place more pleasant.

I truly appreciate how affordable they make their singles/couples campsites. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Clean facilities and nice little common/hangout area. Would definitely stay here again!
