West Coast Campground — Reviews

The spots were small and not private. You can easily hear the very busy road all day. They still get 4 stars, since the staff and the whole vibe were so nice. Positive and easygoing. They have the best roof-less showers I have tried! We bought pokebowls, and they were delicious. If we had the chance, wd would gladly revisit.

Loved this place!! The poke was amazing and the campsite allowed to have some privacy all the while being able to meet friends if that is what you are in the mood for. Great public area and the staff was amazing :) overall a great experience! Would recommend and will definitely be coming back

Unfortunately the destination is incredible but the Campground is durty and the staff is not very professionnal. The price is so expensive compare to the services.

Great little campground! Also home of Ukee Poke- the best poke bowls ever! Better searcheability on Google maps (did not find “West Coast Campground”), picnic tables at the sites and being able to drive up to the site to drop off your belongings would have made this a 5-star campsite for us. But very sweet little campground and well located!

More a parking lot than a camping!!!!

Camp site was damp and shaded with no sun at all despite weather being very sunny. Just a patch of hard ground in trees Lots of traffic noise and site (C) noisy with people walking by on gravel path to ablutions. Worst site of our trip Unless you particularly want the surfing vibe wouldn’t recommend

Great spot! Favorite outdoor shower ever. Super friendly staff!

It is a good little campground. Located directly on the road, but this is super quiet at night. There is a fantastic shower under the trees. The only thing was that the toilets were dirty all the time, not okay for the price and could have been done with a few simple steps. We spend there three nights.

The campsites are right beside the highway, have no picnic tables and practically zero privacy. The bathroom area is lit up with twinkling lights which is pretty, but they do not get turned off at any point in the night, making it hard to fall asleep.

Great spot for a weekend getaway. Clean sites, good facilities, and peaceful atmosphere. Would definitely come back.

The campsites themselves are small and close together but the staff is friendly and helpful, the amenities are excellent (bathrooms, showers, dishwashing station etc all very new and clean) and there is a lovely coffee shop/poke restaurant on site - complete with resident feline cuddle specialist Shadow. All in all a very enjoyable stay at a decent price.

Everything we needed for a good price and the poke bowl was amazing! Coulda used some better signs or map for where the amenities were but other than that very good place to stay.

It suited our purposes but a picnic table on our site would have been appreciated. A little bit better trail to washrooms, showers and wash station would have been nice. When I checked in, it felt rushed, I know they were busy but a little handout map would be helpful. I wasn't aware of the washstand near showers till second day. Also just a little more friendliness and welcoming when we checked in. We were there for birdwatching and sightseeing and felt a little bit out of the loop due to all the surfer vibe, so a little bit more welcoming would have gone a long way. But overall it did suit our needs.

Without picnic tables it is just a parking lot. Not very clean facilities and the showers are a joke.
