This is a campsite with many long-term residents; it has a cluttered appearance and is not ideal for a tourist visit. The staff provide a friendly welcome.

We really like this campground but the washrooms and laundry room really need more care. I had to clean before I used. They obviously hadn’t been cleaned every day. Also, the coin machines in the showers need replacing. The one by the door, even if you push hard , is difficult to do.

When booking , I called the RV resort and was told I needed to book online. I followed through and received confirmation for Site 89. When we arrived , no one was in the office , so we went and parked in designated spot, noting a broken power meter. Next day we were called and told we weren’t supposed to be in that site but they couldn’t say which site we were to be in, so we stayed. Told us we would have gotten an email indicating a different site. Looking back the only email we had received was reservation confirmation and invoice that we had paid. In small print ( which there is no way anyone would have found it ) was site #90. If a site is to be changed and if online booking is the only way , then a separate email should have arrived indicating the site change. We received no such email. At no time prior to arrival were we notified that site 89 ( which the booking process allowed to occur) was to be deemed out of service. Even upon arrival there was nothing at the site itself which indicated it was not to be used. That power meter should have been covered and labelled out of order.
