Terms & Conditions
1. Agreement
By making a reservation, entering the property, or occupying a site at Whiskey Retreat RV Park ("Whiskey Retreat"), guests agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions, all posted rules, and any instructions provided by management.
2. Eligibility
Guests must be at least 21 years of age to reserve a site and are responsible for the conduct of all occupants, visitors, children, and pets associated with their reservation.
3. Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in begins at 1:00 PM.
Check-out is by 11:00 AM.
Early arrivals and late departures may be available with prior management approval.
Guests remaining on-site after checkout without approval may be charged an additional day's site fee.
4. Site Occupancy
Only one RV is permitted per site unless otherwise approved by management.
Occupancy is limited to the number of guests listed on the reservation.
Subletting, transferring, or assigning a reservation is prohibited.
Guests shall use their site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
5. Payments and Fees
All fees must be paid in full prior to occupancy unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Monthly guests are billed month-to-month, with payment due on the 1st day of each month.
Water, sewer, and electric utilities are included in the site rental fee unless otherwise specified in writing.
Late payments may result in late fees, suspension of occupancy privileges, or removal from the property.
Returned checks and declined payments may be subject to additional fees.
6. Cancellation Policy
Short-Term Reservations
Reservations canceled at least 24 hours prior to arrival will receive a full refund, less any applicable processing fees.
Reservations canceled less than 24 hours before arrival may forfeit all deposits and prepaid amounts.
Monthly Reservations
Monthly guests must provide a minimum of 30 days written notice before vacating their site.
No refunds will be issued for early departures, unused days, weather conditions, utility interruptions, or violations of park rules.
Whiskey Retreat reserves the right to cancel reservations due to emergencies, safety concerns, natural disasters, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
7. Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM until 7:00 AM daily.
Guests shall avoid excessive noise, loud music, disruptive behavior, or any activity that interferes with the peaceful enjoyment of other guests.
8. Vehicles and Parking
All vehicles must be legally registered, insured, and operable.
Parking is permitted only in designated areas.
The speed limit throughout the property is 10 MPH.
Major vehicle repairs, oil changes, and maintenance activities are prohibited on park property.
Management reserves the right to remove unauthorized, abandoned, or inoperable vehicles at the owner's expense.
9. Pets
Well-behaved pets are welcome.
Pets must remain leashed whenever outside the RV.
Owners must immediately clean up after their pets.
Excessive barking or aggressive behavior is prohibited.
Management reserves the right to require removal of any pet that poses a threat, nuisance, or disturbance.
10. Site Appearance and Maintenance
Guests are responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly site.
The following are prohibited without management approval:
Junk, debris, or excessive clutter
Unlicensed or inoperable vehicles
Hazardous materials
Outdoor storage of household goods
Permanent structures or site modifications
Activities that detract from the appearance, safety, or operation of the property
Management reserves the right to require corrective action if a site is not maintained in an acceptable condition.
11. Utilities
Utility services are provided as a convenience to guests.
Whiskey Retreat is not responsible for interruptions, outages, voltage fluctuations, internet disruptions, or utility failures caused by utility providers, weather, accidents, emergencies, or circumstances beyond management's control.
12. Conduct and Safety
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
Illegal activity
Disorderly conduct
Harassment of guests or staff
Public intoxication
Vandalism
Fireworks
Discharge of firearms
Open fires except in approved fire pits or designated areas
Guests must comply with all safety instructions provided by management.
13. Visitors
Guests are responsible for the conduct of all visitors.
Management reserves the right to limit, restrict, or remove visitors whose presence interferes with the safety, comfort, or enjoyment of other guests.
14. Property Damage
Guests are responsible for any damage caused by themselves, their occupants, visitors, pets, vehicles, or personal property.
Repair costs may be charged directly to the responsible guest.
15. Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability
Guests use Whiskey Retreat and all facilities at their own risk.
Whiskey Retreat, its owners, managers, employees, affiliates, and agents shall not be liable for:
Personal injury
Illness
Theft
Loss of personal property
Vehicle damage
Pet injuries
Utility interruptions
Acts of other guests
Weather-related damage
Falling trees or limbs
Natural disasters
Acts of God
Guests voluntarily assume all risks associated with occupancy and use of the property.
16. Indemnification
Guests agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Whiskey Retreat, its owners, managers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses arising from the guest's occupancy, actions, negligence, or violations of these Terms & Conditions.
17. No Landlord-Tenant Relationship
Occupancy of any site at Whiskey Retreat constitutes a revocable license to occupy a campsite and does not create a landlord-tenant relationship.
No guest shall acquire any tenancy rights, leasehold interest, homestead rights, or other real property interest in any campsite or portion of the property.
Management reserves the right to terminate occupancy in accordance with these Terms & Conditions and applicable law.
18. Right to Refuse Service or Terminate Occupancy
Management reserves the right to refuse service, terminate occupancy, or require immediate departure without refund for:
Nonpayment
Violation of park rules
Illegal activity
Unsafe behavior
Property damage
Conduct detrimental to the park or its guests
Failure to vacate upon request may result in legal action and additional charges.
19. Force Majeure
Whiskey Retreat shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, utility failures, governmental actions, labor disruptions, emergencies, or other force majeure events.
20. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina.
Any legal dispute arising from occupancy or use of the property shall be brought exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Aiken County, South Carolina.
21. Acceptance
By making a reservation, entering the property, or occupying a site, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
