Nice spot next to the river with clean bath house.

Convenient location. Complete self check-in which was no big deal. We had a brand new concrete pad in site#2. Road noise was there but not bad. Had a fantastic evening watching a band next door at the Asheville Activity Center. Would stay here again.

We had a great time! The campground was our home base while traveling the blue ridge parkway on our motorcycle. Even though there’s people comping thru on the “boardwalk” through the campground we never had an issue or worried about anyone messing with our things. I emailed our host Kurt several times and his response was very quick and helpful. When we kayaked we were able to get out right at the campground. Yes, you hear the traffic, so having a noise machine or fan going drowns out the sound if that’s an issue for you. We would definitely stay here again if we’re out this way again.

Disappointed there was no firewood available to buy; bath house was shabby (but not unclean). Nice setting along the river, but unfortunately the campsite is right beside a busy road, so that has a negative impact on the camping “ambiance”. All-in-all, an “ok” place to stay.

Being on the water was nice…BUT The traffic on the highway kept us up most of the night.

We have little experience but enjoyed our stay at Wilson's. Doing everything online is still strange to us but it was easy and convenient. A small but well run park with nothing to complain about.

No answer when calling a few times / confusion about checking in. Good campground near downtown and Biltmore.

Proximity to road made it noisy

Our site was nice, backed up to the French Broad River, grass could use a mowing.... A little sprucing up would be good. Had new picnic tables, some nice tree coverage. It was right next to the Asheville Outdoor Adventure company which used for kayaking and an E-Bike Brewery tour. A little noisy being right off the highway, but you got used to it.

The location is great given the proximity to everything Asheville.. The highway is close by and at times a bit noisy but not enough to really bother. Check in was a bit confusing and where the host was located but all in all we would stay again.. although you can’t get anyone by phone, Kurt was responsive by email.

Power outtage constantly every afternoon. Consistent with low voltage problems. Hope new upgrades are finished soon.
