Giving the campground 5 stars for benefit of the doubt. Renovations were being completed while we were there is why they are getting the benefit of the doubt. We only had one shower on our side of the campground that was accessible. I will say the staff was very helpful with all needs. I wouldn’t mind staying there again.

My family spent 4 nights at Bear Cove in one of their cabins. We originally had an RV site booked and had to change plans last minute when we experienced truck issues. The staff was great and were able to change our reservations last minute. The park was clean and well maintained. There were a bunch of upgrades going in as well. My complaints, the cabin was TINY. There was no seating anywhere. We had to eat our meals in our beds. Outside most of the other cabins had tables and grills, but ours did not. There were no fire rings available for the cabins either. The camp store as cute as it is with all the Jellystone merch had no bottled water of any kind. After a long day on the road, having to go back out just to get water was not ideal.

We didn’t know when we came that they were under construction and we wouldn’t have Wi-Fi. We were in the mountains so we couldn’t get regular TV in. My husband’s in a wheelchair so he does watch a lot of TV. They should’ve gave us a little bit of a discount then because they advertised Wi-Fi.
